We recently visited this amazing restaurant on a couple of occasions, once for lunch and again for dinner. What can I say? The Octopus and chickpea stew I had for lunch is probably the standout food memory I have from my visit to Croatia, so...simple yet so beautiful. My wife was also in food heaven on both visits. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, and after our evening visit of yet more beautiful food and wine we sat down with the owners son who whilst being an immaculate host explained the history of the restaurant. As an example of Croatian hospitality I imagine this restaurant would be nigh on impossible to beat. We will be back!More

Tradicional and very good dishes! We tried the tuna pasticada, which had an incredible sauce, and the shrimp risotto also very tasty. 56€ for the 2dishes, 4 glasses of wine and a desert. The owner was there and he’s very nice although the waitress was...unpleasant.More

Excellent service, presented with a plate of the very fresh fish they had (tuna, swordfish, sea bream and sea bass I think). When we ordered the waiter suggested wine for each course (we didn't do this because we don't drink white wine), however we selected...a lovely local (Hvar I think) merlot. The fish pate starter was tasty but the octopus salad was amazing, perhaps not as traditional as other restaurants but by far the best we had in 2 weeks in Split. We shared the fish plate which was aldo excellent. Highly recommended.More

Best fresh mussels we’ve ever eaten followed by a fabulous black squid risotto. This is a little gem of a restaurant off the beaten track with an abundance of fresh fish and great service. Highly recommended.

We were looking for something local and we thought why not try this place which was very close to our apartment. We totally did not regret it. The seafood was so fresh and cooked in the way we love grilled. We had the mixed platter...of seafood of the day which the waiter will tell you. Along with all the delicious side dishes, butter rice, potatoes, salad...etc The waiters were very friendly and helpful. Everything was just perfect I wish we are there right now. Would go back anytime!More

Excellent service and possibly even better seafood. The waiter took time to show the daily catch on menu, and recommended a very very good local white wine.
