Had high hopes coming here as is rated the 2nd best dessert spot in split. Was very refreshing and tasty I had the chocolate ice cream and was relatively cheap compared to others in split.

We found this place while watching Somebody Feed Phil. [Check out his past episodes on Netflix if you have travel plans] O The service was not too friendly but the gelato was amazing. Very fresh ingredients and generous portions.

During our visit to Split, we decided to try the much-talked-about ice cream based on numerous recommendations. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed with the quality of the ice cream. I don't understand why there are such long lines for ice cream that is nothing special....The taste was mediocre at best and certainly didn't live up to the hype.More

This ice cream restaurant is located in the old town of Split. And you shouldn't miss it. Perhaps the best ice cream in Croatia in self-made cones.

I'm hooked. They were so good, and there were lots of flavors to choose from. I highly recommend. The price is right, cost so much more in the US.

Great place, ice cream is freshely made, everything is very tasty and aromas are very rich and taste natural. It reminds me of gelato from rome(gelateria fassi). Personel is very kind and outgoing. Bonus tip everything is eggless except for cones, and everything that has...cookies in it.More

very good ice cream in a homemade cone and sometimes it's even filled with chocolate. Also has the best prices as far as I'm aware!

Every summer I come to Split and eating an ice cream at Emiliana is a must! This year I came earlier and Emiliana was already open, and at my surprise there was no waiting in line like usual. Staff of few girls, confusion and one...of them was so rude with no manners. And I was like ok, probably that's the reason there is no line anymore. Usually the people who worked there were so friendly, the ice cream was one of the best. And now the service level has dropped a lot. Hope you will find polite people, cause first contact is so important and not having a bad review because of one lousy person. Also ice cream was a little bit watery this time and half size smaller then before. All in all it's only the beginning of season so I hope you'll manage everything on time, 'cause we would love to come back again and have a nice experience like every summer before.More

What a great experience. First night we got to split it was the first gelato place we had encountered and boy it did not disappoint! Fom start to finish the service is beyond friendly and professional. The two guys who served us were so lovely...and greeted us back when we came back each day! Brilliant selection of gelato and sorbet! I got the lavender (nice but strong in flavour) first and the vanilla and saffron (delicious)! a different day. I wanted to try the Rose (heavenly)! so he kindly added that into my come which was very friendly of him! I came back for it the following morning. All around great place decent price at 2 euros for a tub. Would definitely recommend! Only take cash.More

One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever eaten. My friend and I were in Split for three dates and came every day. Freshly made waffle cones, incredible ice cream and make sure to ask for the toasted marshmallow on top!

Gelato shops are a dime a dozen in the touristy towns along the Dalmatian coast. Most of it is decent, mass-produced stuff that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Gelateria Emiliana is gelato at a much higher level. We visited this place twice because when you...find a very good thing that makes you happy, you want to have more of it, and you feel no need to search for anything better. The gelato in this place is amazing. We tried a variety of flavors, and each one was staggeringly delicious in its own way. My personal favorite was their basic chocolate, although calling it "basic" is misleading. It is dark, intense, and rich. Each bite sends a shockwave through your system. This - THIS is what chocolate gelato SHOULD be. Yes, it's €2 for a smallish scoop. So what. Shut up and take my money. (Cash only, BTW.)More

The dark chocolate with sea salt sprinkled Salt Bae style with marshmallow torched on top was theatrical but was backed up with the taste. Boy it was Intense light and smooth. It drown out my beloved pistachio scoop but my bad. 2 euro a scoop...is good and fresh waffle cones made on site filled the air. My oh my it’s worth the hype.More

Centrally located and open late which is fab for grabbing an ice cream after dinner whilst wandering around. It’s a popular place and gets busy during the day. Lots of flavours to choose from and all we tried were delicious. Fig and vanilla is simply...divine. €2 a scoop and well worth every cent.More

A trip to Split is incomplete without visiting this place. Don’t feel disheartened after looking at the big queue outside the shop. They move fast & the wait is absolutely worth it. Priced at a minimal, this a dessert paradise. One of the finest Gelato...in Croatia, not just Split. Almost all the flavours are delicious. The staff & service is as good as the food.More
