I recommend the pepian. Its pretty much the only dish you could say is traditional "guatemalan" rather than just traditionally central or south america and it is gorgeous! Particularly from here. Good value. Service is a little slow and could be friendlier but its generally...More
The soup is fantastic. My wife and I enjoyed our soup plus split a quesadilla. Also each has a glass of wine. With tip which is included Q192 or &27 US at current exchange of 7 to 1. We have noticed that it takes quite...More
We didn't eat out much during our stay in Antigua due to various reasons but we did come here for our last lunch before leaving town based on recommendation by hopefulist, the Guatemala expert on the forum. We wanted to try Chicken Pepian before leaving...More
I stayed in Antigua for 3 weeks and this was one of my favorite restos. Good quality, portions and ambiance for the price. Caldos are my favorite, but you can't go wrong with the churrascos as well. Cash only.
During 4 nights we stayed, we went their 3 times, because it was soooo good. We loved their Pepian, Jacon and Caldo. Actually all meals we ordered were wonderful with no exception. Great service. Cash only. Nice simple decor. Skip the high-end restaurants and come...More
This is one of my favourite places to go when I'm treating myself to a nice dinner or lunch. It's affordable and the food is great!
Wonderful food, and we come every time we are in Antigua. The food can't be beat, and the prices are very reasonable.
There are many good places to eat in Antigua. Unfortunately, most are expensive by Guatemala standards. Sopas is a great little street cafe that has great food at very reasonable prices!
