You won't see many tourists or ex-pats here, just locals who love the grilled chicken. It's a festive place with no menus and you need a bit of Spanish to get the choices but despite all that - well worth it. We just pointed to...More

We visited rincon tipico close to 5 times over our 2 weeks in antigua. The roast chicken, potatos and coleslaw was soooo good. Perfect place for lunch, dont go for dinner as they roast all throughout the day so the chicken is at its best...More

A very local/authentic place. Great value. Liked it a lot overall - only downside was that the selection is quite limited -- they seem to be great at rotisserie chicken and 80% of the people seem to order that.

Atmosphere was ok-few people. Service ok, but the food was unbelievably bad. My friend ate nothing and I had a few bites of the DRY overlooked yet still cold chicken.

We have stoped at this place for a quick dinner and were offered what looked like leftovers from lunch earlier. It was good enough though and the whole place was empty by than.

Basically you just choose your meat then it comes with rice, veg and tortillas. We had the option of chicken, pork or beef all which cost 30 quetzales. Beers are 15Q. Great place to eat cheap with a filling meal

We had to come back here a few times during our stay in Antigua. The meals were big, cheap and tasty. The fruit drink was also great!

What I mean in my above answer about the wine is that the wine is expensive for the quality you get.
