This review is about Sky Bar, on the level above Sky Cafe. Ten years ago I visited Sky Bar (at the top, up the circular stairs) and liked it. So I went back a week ago and had the worst dessert and wine I've had in many years. I ordered tiramisu and a glass of house wine. The wine was... More

What an amazing place. You can have a drink, eat a meal and watch the sun set as Antigua comes to life at night. This bar offers spectacular views of all the volcanoes and surrounding city.

Five of us went to Café Sky intending to have a happy hour cocktail and "snack" before dinner. We shared one order of nachos and were all stuffed; delicious and such a huge platter. Great views of the volcanoes & city, as well. Great service & prices, too. Locals enjoy it as well, which is always a plus.

I have been visiting and enjoying Cafe Sky for the past 10 years. One of the first places my husband I go after volunteering for a medical team in the highlands is over is Cafe Sky. Love the tortilla soup the view facing Volcan Aqua, nice conversations with the owner. Lunch is always good there.

We had a late lunch and we thought that this would be a great place to have it. This was a Sunday and everyone was preparing for the procession that we had just walked by as everyone was preparing the street for. I got the local Gallo Pinto dish and my wife got a simple hamburger. The first hamburger of... More

The place is know for the view, which is great from the terrace. But you can't enjoy it fully, because the space is untidy and uncomfortable. Coffee is bad. Food expensive. 10% service charge. Could be a cool place, but the renovation needed.

One of my favourite haunts during business trips. Wifi is good if not great, but food is reliably excellent, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is super. Obviously the rooftop is the main attraction particularly on clear days, and I like it less when it is chocka full, however, that is a small price to pay for a great little... More

Café Sky is THE place to be at dusk in Antigua. Climb the tight winding staircase to the upper terrace and you can watch the sun go down over the town with a 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes. The bar underneath, with a covered roof but open sides, is also a nice place to relax with very comfortable seats, subtle lighting and a view towards Iglesia San Francisco and Volcan de Agua. The staff are attentive and there is an extensive menu (including all-day breakfast). They also have possibly the best cocktail drinks in town.
