Difficult to find on the campus but overall a very nice brunch. Had meat, eggs benedict, made to order omelettes, a geat seafood paella. It was $30 per but for the selection it was wonderful. Nice desserts too and the coffee is included..... Roses for all the ladies. I would have liked a carving station in place of the tray... More

The University Club is located on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the oldest building in Amherst, Massachusetts. I have especially enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious food. This is a great place to meet colleagues, clients and friends.

Excellent atmosphere with great food and in a wonderful historical building. The home of the University Club and frequented by Five College Faculty, Staff, Administrators and students. Open primarily during the academic year.

The University Club used to be the "Faculty Club" open to faculty and staff and run autonomously. Several years ago the university administration decided to "annex" it to the various dining services. They also "redecorated" the club in "Hilton Hotel" modern. Finally, the menu seems to have been downsized. It's not clear when or if a full menu will return.... More

The University Club is a hidden gem of the culinary scene at UMass. The menu is fantastic and contemporary. I ordered the steak, which was served with tasty sauteed green beans, mashed potatoes, and local vegetables. The meal was terrific, clearly prepared by a professional, and the service was friendly. Would recommend this establishment for students looking to impress their... More

The environment is pretty charming. You will find yourself in a house built in the 16th century! The food was also good. I had a very nice burger. It is a perfect place for work lunches.

3 of us had apps and entrees. Can't really say anything was delicious. The bread was warm and good however. The waiter admitted that my wine by the glass was 3 days old. All dishes were bland and just warm. Disappointing visit.

We dined at this location specifically because the Homestead House was once owned by our Cowls/Cowles ancestors from many generation ago. We had a delicious meal, great service with beautiful presentation of food. The inside decor of the Homestead and Stockbridge Houses have a contemporary area as well as historical colonial area, catering to many generations. We even enjoyed sitting... More

Difficult to find on the campus but worth the try. It is supposed to be the oldest building in the area. The foof was ok, but certainly not fine dining. The service was ok, but could have been better - clearing plates when others are still eating is a little rude! Would go again, but not high on my list.

This used to be our favorite restaurant. But, wow! has it ever gone downhill! Used to be a real classy and "adult" place for a fine dining experience with truly elegant service with knowledgeable waitstaff. Everything has changed. Our server was extremely unknowledgeable and had to keep running back to ask the chef in order to answer even our most... More
