A bit loud but the food was very good and the service was great. The parking is a bit difficult, but worth the walk.

My family went to the Boatyard for lunch after I searched TA for a new spot to eat in “Annapolis”. Well, the short trip across the bridge to Eastport was worth every second. We had a fantastic lunch sampling the crabcakes, mahi tacos, mahi sandwich...More

While this is a "tried and true" Annapolis seafood place, their specials move them out of the "same old, same old" category. Three of us had the Seafood Salad special. Wow - packed with scallops, shrimps, mussels, calamari, clams plus feta cheese. Like most restaurants,...More

Fun place, full of sailors or wannabe sailors. Casual place for a burger or salad, all food very good. Gets crowded . Parking limited.

We visited Boatyard a couple years ago for an early dinner and had a great experience. This time we stopped through for lunch (midweek) on our way from Williamsburg/VA to Emmitsburg/MD. Sitting at the bar (rather than in the main restaurant) offers a more casual...More

Had lunch at the Boatyard. Service was great. Everything that we ordered was served hot and presented very well. Soft shell crabs were excellent. Nice selection of beers on tap. Certainly will go back.

Description
The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.
