Went for lunch with an out of town friend in the middle of the week; service was horrific. We waited and waited for everything - water, ordering, soup, bread, food. Really took away from the experience and the good food.

Having had a great lunch elsewhere during the day we just wanted a light meal this evening. Crepes were a perfect choice for us. My wife had an Annapolis crepe stuffed full of sea food me a Ham and Brie concoction; both came with a house salad and fresh crusty bread. Washed down with wine a perfect meal for this... More

When you just want a delicious French meal and a delightfully cozy atmosphere, you must visit Cafe Normandie. It's actually best in the Winter time with few tourists in town and the fireplace is going. The staff is quietly efficient and there if you need them and that's what adds to my recommending it to you for a relaxing evening.... More

This is a lovely little quiet spot for a relaxed brunch downtown. We stopped in for brunch and we were promptly seated. The cuisine was French-inspired,and prepared well. The staff was attentive to our every need. Following drinks, our breakfasts were promptly bought to the table.

This restaurant's chef owner is a real, honest to goodness French chef, with all of the necessary credentials. The food is spectacular, and the ambience is warm and inviting. We visited on a cold, wintry day, and the central fireplace was a real treat. The soup of the day was sweet potato with corn. It was fantastic! I had a... More

Went here and had really good service from our waitress and the food was really good. I enjoyed a great bowl of French onion soup and as an entree their beef Bourgogne. We paired it with one of their wines from their special wine list. My mother enjoyed their muscles for appetiser and had their pasta seafood. She followed it... More

We decided to try this restaurant, and so glad we did. The atmosphere inside was warm and cozy. There is a fireplace in the center of the restaurant. The food was very good, and the staff very friendly and efficient.

For some reason we haven't been to Cafe Normandie for quite some time. That will not continue. This is a special place with excellent food, attentive service and a wonderful atmosphere. It truly is a French cafe. The menu is varied but not so overwhelmingly large that it intimidates. We shared a charcuterie platter for starters. The platter had ample... More

I've lived in this city for a long time. The "word" is Cafe Normandie is the best. Maybe we hit the place on a bad evening. We visited on a Sunday evening and just were not impressed. The duck was not great. The beef bourguignon had no layers of flavor. I've done better in my crock pot. My halibut with... More
