Went to dinner a few nights ago. My wife had acceptable sushi and I had chicken udon soup. The soup had no taste and a gamey back taste. The chicken was tasteless. Terrible, don't order this

After a long discussion on business opportunities in Central & South Asia, my friend and I were hungry for some Asian cuisine. Mary suggested Sakura Café in Old Town Annapolis, just off the circle near the yacht club. This was an inspired and, as I learned, expert choice – she had been here before. For our appetizer, we split the... More
We walked around in search of a quick lunch on a Saturday and out our names on one of the American style eateries near the water, and lamented the hour wait we were quoted. We kept walking and sat down right away at Sakura and were so glad we did. Both had the lunch special of salad with tasty peanut... More
I came here for lunch after getting some work done in the city. I loved their take on healthier sushi and adding more levels of flavor to traditional sushi dishes. I got the kani salad, tuna club, and eel nannuto. I was amazing how delicious and well priced the food was considering it's in a tourist area. They have outdoor... More
We stopped in for a quick dinner before a cruise. The staff was particularly nice and accommodated our request to eat in 45 minutes. We ordered some sushi and split a hibachi lobster dinner. The lobster tails were really dried out and slathered in a goupy sauce. I wasn't expecting fresh lobster, but something a bit better, especially for the... More
AMAZING lunch special, with a lot of food for a cheap price! They were also having a special on yum-yum rolls for $3.50, which were delicious! Fast service, friendly waiter. We sat outside, and had a great view of the crowds on Main St. If you like sushi, I definitely recommend this place.
After beating a path to the same places for lunch, we decided to deviate and try Sakura. My wife and I split dishes, a sushi assortment plate and pad thai. The sushi was fine but would have to say the pad thai was a dissapointment - generous portion but kind of an odd sauce which was not at all what... More
I could not have been more pleased with the food, atmosphere, and service. I would say that they bend over backwards to ensure a fulfilling experience.
Sakura is a neat little find in Annapolis. Service has always been attentive and friendly. The lunch menu is a great value with nice selection and a just right speed of service. The ambiance is pleasant and generally relatively quiet, especially during lunch.
Had shrimp tempura and sushi platter which were very good. Good service. Was pleased to find this restaurant was not crowded on holiday weekend so we had a pleasant meal with a pleasant ambience
