The pot roast with carrots over mashed potatoes, our friends had looked very good. The meatloaf was average and nothing special. The fried haddock was overpriced and dreadful. The breading was actually hard, beyond crispy.

Every few months or so some of our cousins get together at a restaurant. This time our cousins picked Mamie's Cafe in Aberdeen,Md. They have eaten here before and know the owner. There are nine of us that dine and catch up on family matters....More

This friendly place just has pages of menu items and it's so difficult to be truly great at so many things. The she crab soup is special but not over the top. It's a kitschy atmosphere with loads of antique items but it's too much...More

Every year our local chapter of the Harley Owners Group takes a motorcycle ride from Baltimore to Aberdeen to have dinner at Mamie’s Café with Love. Brenda and her staff have always welcomed our group with open arms. Mamie’s serves up the best, home-cooked, comfort...More

A friend suggested we try Mammies and they boasted an eatery with great american food at good prices. We are always looking for something new and local so we jumped on the opportunity. We must say that we were not really impressed with the prices...More

A very nice family owned restraint with about fifty bazillion pictures and nic nacks on every vertical surface in the place. Very cool. Had the crab stuffed founder and mashed potatoes which were very nice. After dinner the waitress told me desert was included so...More

Home style cooking. Be prepared to take home some leftovers as preportions are large. Price is reasonable. Staff is very nice. Decor is 1950 era.

If you've been out and you don't have time to cook dinner this is a great place for casual dining. Robust meals, simply cooked can't ask for much more for a reasonable price.

They have three or four deserts every day. The constants are rice pudding, brownies, and some sort of sheet cake, varying day to day. The desert is included in the price of the meal and we never have room to eat them there.
