This is the first restaurant in Casco ... world leaders have had meetings there ... from Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and many others ... the food is kind of a cafe / diner

This cafe has been around since the late 1800's. In 1906 it began serving Coca Cola - the only place south of the US to serve it, thus the name. It is a blue-collar, local restaurant with curt waitress's and basic food. Worth the price of a cup of joe or a Coke!!!

If you're looking for a high-end, upscale dinner. This is not the place for you. If you're looking for a hearty, local homestyle cooked meal. This is your place. Their plates are huge, cheap, and delicious!

It's a good place in San Felipe. I was the only tourist but I had a great time. Very cheap and good food, best sandwich ever... Only thing, no beer or alcool... but for a foodie like me... it's not a problem !! Go there, it's a experience !

Basic "greasy spoon" diner with delicious and cheap breakfast. Cafe con leche and pan con mantequilla (hot, pressed bread and butter) will set you back about $2. Omelettes are $3 and up. A great, inexpensive way to start off your day or running around Casco Viejo.

We'd stopped for a coffee during our first week and were taken by the relaxed and local atmosphere of the place. We called back during our final week to have a late lunch and it was just as we had hoped - no fuss, no frills, excellent food and at reasonable local prices. In a city where so many places... More

We loved the history of this place and enjoyed the old photos on the walls and vintage atmosphere. The food was mostly local Panamanian type and very good value if you are on a budget. Lots of seafood options. The night we were there was a mix of locals and tourists.

It's the oldest café in Panama City and still serves cokes in tall glass bottles. The interior is simple and designed to serve locals. We were the only nonlocals in the place and were greeted warmly. I had sea bass cooked in butter and a very fresh side salad. My wife had stir-fried shrimp on a bed of rice. Both... More
