We discovered this restaurant, because it was near the condo we rented for a week on Calle 39 Este and Balboa Avenue. When we looked up reviews, we noticed Trip Advisor had it listed at an incorrect address, so I sent them a correction. The...correct location is Calle 38 Este (100 yards off of Balboa Avenue). The service is excellent, the food delicious, and there is a nice choice of wines and other drinks. Desert was extcellent. We went for lunch 2 times in one week, since we were so impressed. The restaurant decor is very pleasant and it appears that this was perhaps a residence at one time. The gnocchi and also spaghetti bolognese were outstanding! The prices seemed to be similar to other high quality restaurants that we visited in Panama City. Highly recommended.More
Great meal with great service. Too bad TripAdvisor doesn't have a clue where the restaurant is. Spent a good hour wandering around the neighborhood where we were told to go. Pretty dumb!
It's five blocks down from Ave. Peru towards the water on Calle 38...on the right hand side as you face the water.More
Visited last Sunday for lunch with a large group and loved it. Both the pasta primavera and the fruti di mare were excellent in flavor and texture. The service is adequate and large groups are not their specialty. Our food took longer than usual. Prices...are on the affordable side if you come from the US. The dessertd are out of this world and the chef was kind enough to come greet our party. Will definitely go be back upon returning to Panama on business.More
The selections at Adagio are all great. Beef carpachio and the lasagna are two excellent dishes. Also the beef scalopini is very tender. The service is also great and very attentive. Prices are low for the excellent selections.
Very good food with excellent quality-price ratio: generous portions and ample options.
Pasta al-dente, with the right amount of flavor; not too intense, but not bland.
Service is above average compared to other places in Panama; as the owners and/or managers are very attentive.
Place...is small and cozy, and although chairs are a little uncomfortable, dining there is still a great gastronomical experience.
A well kept secret in Panama.More
