Although you can't compare with restaurants in Lima, RestauranteMachu Picchu does make a very good effort to serve some genuine Peruvian food. Our ceviche was excellent, all our food was tasty and overall presentation was refined. I found the atmosphere a little too dark... Service was average to international standards (good for local standards...) Do NOT order their "fresh juices"... More

We had a great dinner for two here.... sat outside with excellent, professional service. Food was top notch. Ceviche was served in long thin strips (as opposed to mystery "chopped up") very fresh fish, soaked in lime & onion. So good! Traditional, tomato-based soup was perfect; velvety, lots of garlic and cilantro. The seafood platter for two ($39) was full... More

The service was regular. Some of the plates ordered were missing ingredients: the ceviche did not have corn and the causa limeña did not have the avocado. Considering the service and the quality of the food, the prices were too high.

Medium quality...don't even really remember what I had...but it must have been fish. Large room not very cozy.

The traditional ceviche was great! Tasted just like my Peruvian grandpa's. fresh fish, just the right amount of spice, and sweet potato. Quiet restaurant with friendly staff.

We had not been here in three years and had looked forward to it for months as we travel thru Panama. We were not disappointed. Everything was great! The food the Service and the atmosphere were all very pleasing and we cannot wait to go back next trip.

A well known restaurant on avenida eusebio morales Macchu Picchu offers an extensive menu option; hungry I stumbled in after too many beers looking for hot food the dazzling number of cerviches, I had to wade through before I got to what I thought was a hot appetizer; it was instead Causa de marisco; two layers of mashed potatoes with... Bit pricey but the food was excellent. If you don't understand the items on the menu, the waiter was friendly and very patient explaining everything to us. Overall the food was delicious. Good place. Clean.

We stayed at a hotel close by so went here because it was convenient. When we arrived it was very quiet but filled up as the night went along. There wasn't much atmosphere at first. Our waiter was polite but not overly friendly. I tried to order a steak dish but they had absolutely no steak that night. It was... More
