Flavourless half-warm food, that is technically not bad but far from great. Quite cheap though. Cusine is Ukraine, with a selection for both vegetarians and meat eaters. In retrospective I regret not trying the cake, it looked delicious and the other reviews praise it.

Still mid my lunch I already have a funny feeling in the stomack. Being familiar with Ukrainian cousine I am disappointed with the place where the green borsch is served semi warm and it tastes nothing the like the green borsch, traditional Ukrainian young cabbage salad is not soft and has no flavor, seaweed & eggs salad was ok, chicked... Cheap and tasty food. You can see how it looks and choose. Prices are very cheap. No alcoholic drinks.

Read up in this review section before I went, and I would agree with the general statement that food-wise this is better than puzata hata. The portions are good, theyre open early and close late, and the food is of a good quality. The only issue I had is that the staff who were serving food at the time I... More

Great Ukrainian food at a fantastic price. Lots of locals eat there, which is always a good sign. We wanted to try everything so we ordered 7/8 half portions and shared. Well worth a visit.

The best fast food in the centre of Kiev. Much tastier than Puzata Hata but some higher price. Try their Chiken Kiev and salads.

One could say that this is a value for money place and one of the best solutions in downtown Kiev, a few steps frkm the heart of it, the beautiful Independence Square. Unlike Puzata Hata, this a place where the staff smile more often, there are windows to look out and food, as well as the portions are more than... More

Dva Gusya (2 geese) is a nice "stolovay" style restaurant. The food was good, not to greasy. Place was full. Deserts were especially tasty (and they offered free hot tea with sweets purchase). It is not gourmet food and is probably $1-$3 more expensive than Puzata hata or Drova, but definitely better quality and variety.

This restaurant has a very nice outside seating area where you can watch people walking on Khreschatyk. We visited late in the afternoon after walking around a nearby park and had coffee and cake. The coffee was fine and the cakes very good. There is a food hall style restaurant on the upper floor that has a very large selection... More
