This was our first ever meal in Moldova, and we truly enjoyed every second of it! Our server Artemie truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. He had awesome food and drinks recommendations, and everything we had tasted delicious....We started off with the Rabitt pate with quail eggs, and it was better than we expected. The pate was very creamy, and a great pairing with our bottle of local Rara Neagra 1827! We also had the traditional Moldovan chicken soup, which was outstanding! My wife then had the grilled pork chop with cabbage, which was also great. I opted to go with the traditional Tocana pork stew, also awesome. We had such a great first impression of Moldovan food, and wished we were not as jetlagged, so that we could be soak up more of this great culinary culture. Two thumbs way up to Artemie and Viozel, for taking great care of us all night, while being such gracious hosts!More

We visited this restaurant for a dinner. The food that we ordered was average. And the service was bad and rude. When asked about certain dishes the waiter didn't know what to answer. As if they are not working there and don't know what the...dish is made of.More

We have been in this restaurant for the first and definitely the last time. The restaurant were nearly empty and we had to wait approximately 25 min for our drinks and one hour for the main dishes. By the way the dished didn’t arrive at...the same time. The result were event more poor, the ordered coffees were cold and every dish were totally overcooked. We would definitely recommend to stay away from this restaurant.More

After 30 minutes sitting at the table, a waiter came. Ordered a white wine - of course the most expensive I got recommended. For the moment it seemed to be ok. But to order a drink for my wife oder something to eat - no...chance. At all we spend more then 90 minutes in the restaurant without any chance to order sth.. So we left the restaurant, payed for the wine without eating anything. Left and find another location. We are very sad about this happened, we wanted to give Moldavia a possibility to show its home country food but were very very disappointed. To all of you: Choose an alternative location to eat!More

I like the reataurant, since I’ve paid more than couple of visits there; I really enjoy “sarmale” - a traditional dish (balkanic food with ottoman influences) ; there are two kinds: minced meat wrapped in pickled grape leaves or sour cabbage; served with sour cream...and polenta, they are deliciousMore

A very nice culinary experience. The service was very nice, the waiters were very polite and attentive and the food was excellent. We ordered soups (soleanca, fish soup and beans soup) and cheese pie and they were all delicious. The bread was very tasty and...warm. The coffee was also good. The place looks very traditional and nice. The food is a little pricey but it’s worth it. Definitely will visit again if I have the chance.More

I ate dinner here on one of the evenings in Chisinau. Tasty traditional local food and wine with an ambience to match. Good service and reasonable pricing.

I wanted a local place for dinner after landing in Moldova, and this place was within walking distance of my hotel. I wasn't expecting to be blown away, after all Chisinau isn't a food destination but I was so pleasantly surprised. I started with house...made dumplings which was one of the best dishes I've ever had while traveling. It was so filling that I wasn't hungry anymore but ended up getting mushrooms and risotto just to try something else. That was also very tasty. I washed down each dish with a local wine while listening to live music. Highly recommend if you're in Chisinau for dinner time.More

Very good local food. I like their "placinta" with cheese. In the evening you can listen to the local music. In summer you can sit in the garden. The only one problem is to find the parking place. Usually the places in the front are...occupied.More
