Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a lady in tourist information and we are so glad that we went. We said we wanted to try local food and it was just right. I especially loved the Istrian pasta. The price was reasonable and the...staff lovely.More

In this part of the city it's still the same - good restaurant trying to make meals a modern way in an European style with a nice atmosphere and attentive stuff. But the prices are too much for the result on the plate. It's really...delicious but restaurants in this central part misuse a big amount of tourists and their prices are insane.More

The lunch menu is very delicious. Wien schnitzel is juicy and mash potatoes and salad like side dish. The price is 65HRN(~17Eur)

This little restaurant is next to the bottom of the Funicular. It has a stylish modern and quiet interior with spotless toilets. Our server David was very sweet and made us welcome. It has a simple but varied menu with very reasonable prices. I chose...the arrabbiata pasta with pork tenderloin and my companions the chicken salad and burger respectively. All were very good. The chicken was great and much better than the chlorinated chicken we are used to in the US. I was asked if I wanted less spicy or “normal” spicy. I like very spicy and asked for the normal, but although it was tasty there was no spice at all to my spice loving palate and the pasta was slightly overcooked. Hence 4* instead of 5*. Highly recommended.More

We had a delicious meal here a few days ago, it’s next to the lower station of the funicular. Homemade food, perfect service and affordable prices. Very cozy and warm atmosphere and a menu full of local dishes. Coming back soon!

We stumbled across this gem as we ran down from the funicular to escape a thunderstorm and downpour. The waiter was charming, efficient &made excellent recommendations. The food was simple but very well cooked & presented and very tasty. My husband had veal, I had...sea bream & we both had delicious pancakes in a light as air foam. My house white wine was excellent as was my husbands local beer. For two main courses, two delicious deserts, 2 beers & 2 glasses of wine we paid £ 32.47 !!!!! Highly recommendedMore

We stopped at this restaurant after taking a ride on the Funicular. Initially there was some hesitance around vegetarian options, but we were welcomed in and seated inside (which was fortunate as it was raining). Fortunately a vegetable risotto was available for the one member...of our party who is a vegetarian, the rest of us tucked into traditional fare including the daily special of stuffed paprika with mashed potato (delicious). The waitron was very friendly and helped guide our meal choices. We'd definitely recommend a visit.More
