Situated behind the fruit and veg market. Stopped for a drink while people watching in the market. Nice and quiet restaurant with a terrace providing a good view below to the market. Reasonable bar prices friendly table service.

Indeed, waitress told us that we will wait for our food, but 45 minutes is too long just for serving soup. Main dish, zagrebacka muckalica, was fine but I was expecting more vegetables in this dish.

For me the best restaurant in Dolac area. Daily menu was very good and food was delicius for reasonable price. Stuff is very calm and nice with I think big work experience. Food was delivered fast and warm. Ambient is just the way it should...be for that kind of restaurant. My reccomondation for good meal if you are in dolac or Kaptol area.More

We randomly stopped in at this restaurant due to the convenient location by the market and I wanted to sit in the sun. Our waitress was nice and helpful-I asked for recommendations. The chicken cordon bleu was delicious as was the glass of red wine....Prices are very reasonable and they have clean bathrooms in the restaurant.More

Good food and reasonably priced. Food arrived promptly. I had chicken with rice, it’s a bit salty. Nice view looking down and facing the market square. Clean environment and staffs speak English well.

The beef steak was very nice, also the free bread, but the shrimp risotto was very disappointing. I'd rather take a cheese or meat plate if I ever go again.

Situated just up the stairs at the back of the Dolan Market, having noticed it during the Free Spirit, Zagreb walking tour, we decided to call in here for lunch. A number of people were sitting out on the terrace which overlooks the market, but...we chose to sit inside, it was quite well appointed with comfortable chairs and proper linen napkins, we were the only people in the dining room. The waitress was quite helpful, we chose a local dish each from the menu, and ordered a couple of local beers, the food was well cooked and had good flavour, but like most dishes in this region, plenty of meat but lacking vegetable content. Not the cheapest place to eat, but beer prices seemed reasonable considering venue.More

If you happened to be at Dolac market and looking for a place for lunch, Restaurant Kerempuh is a good option.

I give Restoran Kerempuh a "very good" rating for its outdoor terrace's commanding view of Dolac Market. The restaurant opens at 8 am daily and makes a great starting point for exploring the Upper Town. Large cappuccino costs the usual 12 Kn. At 25 Kn.,...one croissant is a little pricey, but it's light and flakey, and comes with butter and jam on the side, not stuffed inside the pastry. Bigger breakfasts, with egg and ham or bacon, run about 35 Kn. NOTE: The address is Kaptol 3, but the entrance is not among Kaptol 1, 2, 4 & 5; it's around back and up the stairs. You can also approach from Petrica Kerempuh Square.More
