The restaurant was lovely and really unusual with quite a quirky design. They also offer dances in the evening which would have been nice if we had been able to go along that evening. We had lunch which was really nice choices from the menu which were different from the usual fare at other restaurants. The food was very cost... More

It is in the center of Sofia. Old building which was Mara Belcheva's house. The food is average and a bit expensive.

This place somehow creates a literary atmosphere and this is not surprising as it used to be a meeting point for cultural events at the beginning of the 20th century. I wish they would raise their food standards a bit, this could be a great place to visit regularly.

Very nice memories, the interior is great, nothing extraordinary, but is a mixture of an old building, nice cafeteria place and feeling in your enormous living room ...

Haven't been here this year but it is one of my favorite places in Sofia. A lovely tango hall with good food but nothing really exceptional though the beef carpaccio I had there one time was very good indeed. Reasonable prices, good service, cool in the summer ... well worth a visit!

Eastern European cuisine. Located on Hristo Belchev Street, a couple of corners from Vitoshsa, still it remains hidden. The building was a meeting point for many cultural events in the beginning of the 20th century, being the house of the famous Bulgarian poetess Mara Belcheva. Its interior retains the atmosphere of the past – the old fountain remains in the... More

Before and After used to be one of my favorites restaurants in Sofia till last night. I had a business meeting. They serve us fake alcohol - rakia Burgas 63 and Slivenska Perla! They did not apologize even they try to deny! Wine - they have good wine list, but they don't have the wines in fact. The main waitress... More

I came across this restaurant quite randomly, but loved the decor, and ate some delicious fresh fish - I'll be back.

I have to say this is one of the restaurants with really unique atmosphere. It is very cosy and I love their menu. It is very diverse, including Eastern European dishes with a modern twist but also many Central or Western European meals. And most importantly, it is quite healthy which perfectly fits my way of eating !
