I enjoyed the rustic ambience and the folk music . The service was often good although occasionally slow and a bit surly . The food when it came was excellent with generous portions . For foreigners the prices were fine although I'm sure you can...More

One of the best meal I have ever had in Europe. The homemade brown bread is a must for anyone who loves home made. I had the chicken was a bit skeptic before it came out but when I tasted it I could eat the...More

Good food, in a interesting environment. Lots to look at, hanging on the walls and ceiling. Local musicians entertain as you eat. The food was very tasty, quick service and a very reasonable price. We'll worth a visit.

Traditional Bulgarian food with flair. Great decorations. Lots of rooms. We had lunch there the first day and went back for dinner the next night. At night they had a trad. Bulgarian band -- drum, animal-skin bagpipes, horn of some sort -- wandering from room...More

For our last night in Bulgaria we wanted something special and this certainly delivered. We booked a table, which was necessary as we saw a number of people turned away during the evening as the restaurant was so busy. Our table was in a semi-private...More

Staying fairly close to here so based on the reviews thought we'd give it a go. Walked in and asked where would we like to sit then ordered by someone more senior to sit outside. Long wait to place order, bland food, disinterested staff, not...More

The restaurant is in the center of Sofia consisted of four restored houses from 1866 year representing architecture and style from beautiful Bulgarian towns Koprivshtitsa, Zheravna, Melnik and Bansko, combined with a joint yard and a beautiful Summer garden. We offer extensive menu with traditional Bulgarian recipes and Bulgarian wines. In most the evenings there is live folklore music.
