I will never come again at this restaurant. I found a dead fly lying on my bread with my pasta. And the waiter insisted that it was spinach! After he realised that it was a fly, he made a joke with it. Except this incidence,...I found also hair in cheeseballs!More
I have been going to Victoria for many years and always looked forward to a visit there. I had dinner at the Sofia Center Victoria last night for the first time in a year and was greatly disappointed. The service was good but in the...past the food was well above average. As soon as I saw the menu I was wondering if I was in the right restaurant. All my favorites were missing. Replaced with obvious factory food (probably made and frozen in some central location and delivered to the restaurant to be reheated) selections. Even the desert menu was missing some past signature delights. So the food was about even with a certain :) local bargain priced restaurant chain but the Victoria prices were so much higher. This is a message more to the Victoria management (since anyone reading this review should avoid this place for now) because you have ruined what has been a long time Sofia restaurant leader. get your act together and improve the menu. There are so many great restaurants in Sofia. If you don't improve your menu you will see many empty seats in the future. Regulars like me will be hard to win back and new visitors will certainly be disappointed... Especially when they get a sky high bill for a reheated frozen dinner.More
We ordered drinks that came in sticky and dirty glasses. I ordered lasagna that came like this ... and it tastes worse as it looked. We are just glad we didn’t order sushi!
Don’t recommend, it’s not as nearly worth the money they charge ......don’t let the beautiful and quiet garden fool you.More
I’ve been to this restaurant twice. The burger was good, but small compared to the price. The fried chicken was not so good, and the salad next to it was ridiculously small. I’m sad to say it, but the service was also average by local...standards: as usual, no smile, almost to the point of being rude. It makes you feel that you are a burden, not a paying customer.More
We waited 45 mins to be served cold food by a very rude waitress. The food was so cold I was worried about the safety of the cooking temperature.
The waitress claimed it was warm then abused us when we disagreed. We paid for our...drinks and left.
DO NOT EAT HERE..More
The restaurant looks upscale from the set up and the service of the waiters, however, I was profiled as a tourist, and scammed on a non-menu fish of the day. I picked out and ordered a Mediterranean flounder, an average sized one, during lunch hours...on a Saturday. The bill for the fish alone was 130lv (@$75)!. I felt someone(s) in the establishment decided to intentionally scammed me for being a tourist, but as I did not ask the price and weight of the fish before having it cooked, I paid the outrageous bill. There is no rules or order in this restaurant as it appears from the setup. They even charged me for WC use and not my Bg companion. You expect high standards, which includes dependable service, but you can get low class services here. Neither of us will be visiting it again nor get any recommendations to eat here.More
Visited on 2nd July 2019. Absolute tourist trap for its sheer presence on the main road. Ordered spaghetti bolognese and pizza. The spaghetti tasted as if it were from a (ready to eat) packet; the pizza was okay. Service was passable; the waitress took away...my plate while I still had the last couple of morsels in my hand! Also they don't serve tap water...for the price of the items on their menu. Best avoided.More
Happened upon this mostly outdoor dining spot while wandering in Sofia and stopped for dinner. The service was good and the food was fine. I had the cod which was a bit overcooked but still tasty. Nice spot for a drink or a quick meal...nearby the tourist attractions.More
