Amazing Meal and Atmosphere

We visited this restaurant last night and it was brilliant! Definitely recommend to make a reservation ( we booked online) as this place gets busy. Despite it being busy the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff were attentive and friendly. The menu is...massive and so are the portions! We loved our meal and would definitely recommended a visit.More

Great atmosphere, great food!

We visited this restaurant last night and were really impressed! The hostess managed to fit us in despite our not having a reservation (thank you!) And the staff were polite, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the...selection of food was amazing - I'm a vegetarian and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of traditional food available to me! We left very full and very happy, and would absolutely recommend a visit - reservation recommended as it is clearly a very popular place. Thank you for a wonderful night!More

Excellent.

Excellent food. The restaurant has a super nice vibe, and good service and staff. The menu was big. A good place to visit with friends or family. Me and my family sat outside but there was live music inside. It’s around 30-40 lev per person...inclusive drinks.More

Great ambiance and food at traditional Bulgarian spot

Gorgeous restaurant, decorated with folk Bulgarian items, and the terrace-garden was very pleasant (and clearly popular). Every food item we ordered (Shopska salad, Valche meze na koleloto, house lemonade) was well-presented and very tasty. My wife and I were there to meet friends, and we...all enjoyed our visit and our meal so much we were the last customers to leave. The staff was very kind to us and very accommodating!More

Business dinner

Business dinner. A salad to start with, not very tasty but plentiful. A grilled thin steak, soft and tasty with boiled potatoes with a meaty sauce. Some kind of sweet yogurt for dessert. Not coming back for more…

Rather disappointing

Based on the reviews and the rather unusual architecture and interior of the building(s), we went to this restaurant with some business associates. The salads were OK but the selection of meat and what was served with it was rather disappointing. I had the lamb...chops which were relatively expensive for the price level in Sofia, so then you expect something pretty good but the quality of the meat was rather poor. They came with a lot of fat still on them and some of them had tendons. Also not really well grilled. Service was friendly.More

Atmospheric place average food

Nice, traditional looking restaurant, comfortable and atmospheric. Not everything available on the menu which was disappointing for us. Average food. Average price range. Nice to have visited though.

Traditional bulgarian and live music

Traditional bulgarian restaurant. Live folk music. The food is mostly meat very large portions. The cost is correct drinking a bear it’s 20 - 25€. To add a tip of 10%. Service is friendly. We had there a nice dinner. Reservation recommanded can be done...by mail (let check the official site)More

Bulgarian-themed restaurant

This quirky Bulgarian-themed restaurant really screamed "tourist-trap" to us but we had a delicious meal there. My husband and I shared the grilled meat platter for 2 and it was the perfect amount for us both. The meat, salads and potatoes were lovely and the...presentation was amazing!! Sofia traditional restaurant
