One of our favourite places to go on the island. We love it for lunch but it is also open for dinner. The views of the ocean are breath-taking and there are some stairs that lead down to the sand. We often start & end our trips to Rarotonga on those stairs with a bottle of wine - dreaming and... More

A group of family and friends over for a wedding, dined here prior to the wedding . We enjoyed a pre dinner drink admiring the views . A set menu was prearranged which suited all including vegetarians and gluten free diets. For many it was there first dining experience in Rarotonga. Loved the brie entrée and the baileys cheesecake superb.

The lunch we had was fresh, tasty and filling. Very good service and the view looking out over the reef and ocean helps you enjoy your meal and very cold drinks a lot more. I'm told by friends and locals it is a good viewing platform during whale season.

We had a delicious lunch of fish curry, with tomato salsa, cucumber raiti and banana and coconut with poppadoms. The restaurant is waterfront and the restaurant has a lot of character with French doors across the entire front. Great service and food

Tamarind house is noted as fine dining so we thought one meal here would be enough for our budget- big mistake!!!! The food is sublime, the staff attentive , the location stunning - best restaurant we've been to in a... More

We visited the Tamarind House Restaurant for dinner, it was suggested by some italian people living in Rarotonga. The atmosphere is quite sophisticated, I see on their website that the restaurant also organises weddings and special events. If you are travelling on a budget, I suggest to keep this restaurant as an option for a "special occasion". We had a... More

You get a feel of the past there in a nice old house by the sea in a quiet parc. Lunch was giving you the perfect idea of Rarotonga.
