the service and the organization completely lets down a superb location and a good wine tour..post tour if u have opted for lunch and tasting in the afternoon shift, be prepared for delays, bad tables, and a very slow service..bouza opts for quantity over quality

Dear Sumeetbr, We regret that your experience in the winery was not satisfactory, that day we had a big delay in the tables rotation, and we could not attend you as you deserved, we were in disgust with what and we apologize for it. We will take your comments, we are working hard on these types of inconveniences, since the... More

This is the kind of place you may find in Sonoma or Napa, even Bordeaux but in Uruguay. The place is unique. The car collection is an unexpected plus and the food is absolutely excellent. Take the time to visit if your travels should take you to Montevideo.

Just a short drive out of Montevideo is a charming small winery with lovely restaurant. We were on a shore excursion and after some initial unnecessary and embaressing delay were seated in the modern restaurant. A genourous tasting was followed by a good lunch. The Tango dancers between the tables was an added bonus. A short talk amongst the vines... More

Visited in a group of 24. Initial viewing of the vines and barrel room. Then the vintage vehicles collection. This was followed by an excellent lunch accompanied by 5 wine tasting of excellent quality wines all available to purchase

Excellent place to relax and have a wonderful meal. The place is so relaxing you can spend the whole day there. The food was amazing my mouth is watering just to think about it. The service was excellent, the guided tour very informative and entertained. Definitely will go back again and again every time I'm in Montevideo.

It is quite expensive but it's worthy. Food is very nice. Souffle Martin Fierro, the best dessert I ever ate. Must go for couples.

Bodega Bouza is a fantastic restaurant with amazing service in beautiful surroundings. My parents took me there for a surprise birthday and it was absolutely memorable. Although a bit expensive, the quality of the food and taste are on spot.

If you don't have lunch here it is much like every other winery. You are taken to look at the vines and hear the history of the winery and then to look at the barrels where they store it. What was unique was the owners collection of antique cars and motorcycles.

We went here thinking we were paying for a wine tour but really it was a restaurant that offers free tours with a lunch booking. We had heard the food was really good so that was an easy call! The tour was OK - loved seeing the old cars and hearing about the wine of Uruguay, but the highlight was... More

Description
Besides the fact that you can come to have a guided tour throughout the winery, vineyards, wine cellar and a classic car museum you can also have wine tastings and lunch. We think that the best food is usually the simple food made with high quality ingredients is the best. Our speciality are the grilled meats but do not hesitate to try our more elaborated dishes. We recommend if you are paying us a visit to do it chill, not in a hurry so you can enjoy your staying the best.
