Interesting menu. We just tried the starters, of which the croquete was too floury and the shrimp not well clean. The scallops and the squid on the other hand, along with the homemade garlic mayo were really good, would go back!

On our last day in Montevideo our group stopped in at La Perdiz for lunch. A wide range of excellent choices were presented, and all of them were both substantial and delicious. Be aware, however, that you will pay dinner prices if you are stopping in for lunch. But good value for money, nonetheless.

The restaurant is busy. Service is average. I was not very much impressed. The wine list of white wines is poor and way overpriced. For starter I ordered kidneys (rinones). Horribly cleaned. Smelled piss. It was chewy. I have never seen kidneys served without the inside being cleaned out. The beef ancho was way overcooked. The beef was fatty. Big... More

We went to La Perdiz for lunch on a work day, and it was quite full. I am a coeliac and they had options without gluten. My two companions had meals from the normal menu and they were really happy with their choices, and so was I. The atmosphere was nice, relaxed, comfortable on a very hot and humid day.... More

We enjoyed our meal very much. Close to the Sheraton so convenient. Got here right at 7:30 when it opened to be able to sit in front of the grill for a fun dining experience. The fried cheese with basil and tomato is excellent. We had a rib eye and filet. Big portions and tasty too. The server behind the... More

Had a great dinner. Very friendly. The sole was delicious. They offered us a limoncello. We will be back.

Almost everything was great, but I ordered a shrimp pasta as the main course and it was honestly disappointing. There was only a hint of shrimp flavor. Too bad, maybe I ordered the wrong dish, as everything else I saw served looked much better.

Had a great dinner but make sure you make reservations since it is very popular. They make a mean Pisco Sour.
