One of our favorite things to eat when we visit Lima is sea food and La Isla Escondida is one of our favorite places, the food is always fresh and plentiful, the service is good and the place is clean. My favorite dish is the Chicharon mixto which is a nice mix of fried fish, shrimp, calamari and octopus. My... More

The variety is good, the quality awesome. The service is so so because it is always packed with so many pleople that the staff is always running here and there. It is expensive but I think it is worth it cause the plates are huge! My recommendation: chupe de camarones and cause de pulpa de cangrejo yummmmm

The restaurant is a nice place in Lima. Although the location is not very accesible, the food was just fine. The rices (arroz chaufa, arroz con mariscos, arroz piurano) are excellent. The cebiches are normal, but nothing as good as their rices. I would come back for trying the rissoto. The local is big, two floors. I liked that they... More

The drinks full of Pisco and not watered down. The appetizer big and quick. And the food??? OMG out of this world!! I eat Peruvian food all my life and this restaurant is like a hidden jewel that I just find out!!!!

This is what great, simply prepared Peruvian seafood is all about.... Delicious, impecabbly fresh ingredients, rapidly and generously prepared, in a big bustling restaurant high on energy. This place does it better than most... The restaurant is hidden away in a back Street of Surqillo... Tourists should try it to see the "real" Lima... I can see La Isla Escondida... More

One of the best cevicherias in Lima. Try the trout ceviche. Excelent! Comfortable place, nice portions and prices are acceptable. Ask for Chilcano with Riva De Neira Pisco.

I have been here at least twenty times in the last five years. Great local find thanks to my Peruvian family. I have tried almost everything on the menu and they are mostly great!

If you love seafood come to this restaurant where you can not reserve a table but you since it is a big restaurant waiting time does not take long. Everything you can think of coming from the sea is available in several styles and flavours. You hardly see foreigners here as the Peruvians know how to keep the best places... More

Went to this restaurant with somebody who already knew about it. It was a nice surprise. The restaurant was not fancy at all, or in up scale neighboorhood. But the place was confortable, the food delicious, the service excellent and the prices very reasonable. Overall an excellent experience.

Nice restaurant with good tasting seafood dishes. Reasonable prices. Suggest you don't order the "jamon" dishes. Good service, clean and nice neighborhood.
