Our group of eight unanimously voted this the best espresso we had during our two weeks in Peru. We stayed at Peru Star Apartments Hotel (Papas y Camotes is downstairs) and were always impressed with the restaurant staff's service and friendliness. Breakfast was delicious and we were accommodated after the 9:30 AM advertised cut-off; the appetizer sampler platter was delicious... More

This is the restaurant inside the Peru Star Hotel but it is open to the public and it's very good and very reasonably priced. They have wine and beer. We ate there several times at various times of day and were always pleased with what we had.

A perfect place to have a simple meal if you are too tired to travel back into the city. Nothing fancy but super fresh food and friendly staff. Very accommodating to dietary restrictions and reasonably priced.

Restaurant serves Peruvian food which tasted good but I felt was very salty. One such dish, a meat soup, was rather salty. When we complained about it; the staff apologized how Peruvian food can be rather salty because of the meat and offered a substitute dish in place of it. We ended up with a fruit salad which was satisfying.... More
