Delicious local cuisine, highly recommended! I came here with friends after a 3 day adventure in the amazon, I was not even hungry, however my friend ordered me this dish. I finished every single last bit of it! If you're in Iquitos or passing by,...definitely drop in!More

Had the "menu." First course a salad of cook veggies, second a regional fish dish, wrappen in banana leaves, smothered in chopped onios and tomatoes and then roasted. Accompanied by smashed and fried plantains that were served with a chopped mixture of onions and star...fruit all bathed in lime juice. All an obvious attempt at a higher level of cooking.More

Very different than all the other restaurants in Iquitos, a wide variety of lunches available, all excellent.

Best jungle food ever! This restaurant is not crowded coz it is not located in the main square or near to the river but it's worth it to go there, the food is really delicious, the portions are really big and the cookers are really...nice! Best jungle food in Iquitos!More

La Mishquina offers a set price lunch menu including a starter, main course, dessert, and a jungle fruit juice beverage (refresco). Prices are good and normal for a better quality menu of about s/12 soles (aprx US$4.50) and that includes the 2 courses, dessert and...beverage! I have tried several different selections as I have returned many times. One of the best restaurants in Iquitos for lunch. Every selection was delicious, large portions and nice presentation. The service is some of the best in the Amazon with attentive waiters. Highly recommended and maybe you will see me there at another lunch!More
