In Iquitos you will find a lot of the same on offer, but Calypso offeres something a bit different in the form of french creps. It is located in the small mall on the malecon. And is run by a very lovely lady.

This restaurant is making a nice mix between French and Amazonian food. You can enjoy succulent French Crêpes and the best coffee in town. The place is calm with wifi and many books to spend time in a fresh place when it's hot outside. I definitely recommend that place is you are in Iquitos

The pancakes are fine even if they could be cooked for maybe a minute or so less to prevent drying but the fillings are generous and healthy and the service first class. Drinks are well priced with good fruit juices, fine coffee or chocolate, all at very reasonable prices. Hope they expand the menu a little?

This little resturant is on the main boulovarde in Iquitos. The food made here is very tasty and at a very fair price. It is a definate must visit, especially if you want something a little different.
