HUASAI RESTAURANT, Iquitos

The restaurant is located just few step from main square. Food is good and cheap comparing to others. What is a little difficult is to make an order or decide what to take because the staff is not bilingual.

Great food

I have been to Iquitos over twenty times. This place is one of the best local restaurants in Peru. The food is awesome. The service is great. This is the best food for the best price in Iquitos. Ask for a desert!

Great breakfast !

We came here for breakfast almost everyday! The breakfast is cheap and delicious! It’s right near the plaza de armas. The server we had each time was kind of rude though.

great local food and friendly staff

This is a great place to try local Peruvian food, cooked by locals, served by locals, with many locals as guests. Prices are very affordable. Open for lunch and breakfast. Decent food and service

Great lunch

This is a very good restaurant with excellent daily menu option. The food was really good, the staff was nice, however English wasn’t the strong side of them. The daily menu is cheap, 16 Soles for starter, main dish and drink, the quality was really...good. It’s a pity, they are closed for dinner.More

Lunch special +++

Love the lunch special! Appetizer dish of soup or salad, entree and drink. Soups are very delicious! Main meal is always great! Wish the sauces were more picante! you also get a nice pitcher of juice of your choice. All this for just under $5...us or S/16.0 I would have given a 5 rating if it weren’t for the waitress always bringing me my entree when I’m only half way through my appetizer, cause then my main dish is cold. Overall nice price and delicious food.More

A good option

Nathaly was the waitress who kindly took our orders. She does not speak English but could understand what we wanted. The food was good. The place is just round Plaza de Armas.

Relatively cheap food

The restaurant is near to the main square of Iquitos. The menu is S/. 17. 00 and it comes with an entrée, a main course and a refreshment. The food is OK, the problem are waitresses.. Usually they are not nice.

A true peruvian restaurant, with true traditional peruvian menu. You will be with most of all only average peruvian people.
