I ate here several times. The food was incredible. The bartenders make wonderful drinks and I gotta tell ya. I've spent time in latin america. This place shines. Clean bathrooms that actually function...actually CLEAN. The staff was attentive and polite. If you're visiting Iquitos put...this place on your list. You wont be sorry It's a winner for travelers. As an American I have a pretty sensitive tummy while in Peru, however, I had no problems at all. Give it my highest praise! It was a wonderful experience all the way around.More

The restaurant is in an old rubber-boom house near the city center. Its large windows and open space allow for good ventilation. There is a music corner where they sometimes play good live music as well. The staff is super friendly and the food is...really good, especially the fruit juices. However, what brought the whole experience down to me (in 3 different occasions) is that I specifically asked for my fruit juice without a plastic straw and without sugar. And in the 3 different occasions, my juice came with a plastic straw in it. If this would have happened only once I would have been less disappointed, but despite repeating multiple times about the straw, it still happened. This place is in the heart of the Amazon and they should consider more environmental practices.More

Espresso is housed in an old rubber boom era building (typical in Iquitos). The space is open, with a large bar and dining area. The food was excellent. Dishes are priced at the high end for Iquitos, and deviate some from "standard" cuisine in the...area. The presentation is good. Overall, Espresso provides an experience that one would be more likely to expect in Lima.More

I spent five days in Iquitos. I walked and walked among the thousands of moto-taxis, noise, and fumes in the city. Normally, I look for quiet and beautiful places to enjoy my coffee and perhaps a good meal. "Espresso" was finally the place that I...was hoping to find. The best atmosphere in town. Beautiful place and delicious food. I could see the other customers were having a great time as well. The staff was totally kind and responsive.More

Excellent espresso and delicious food! The menu is a wholly unique fusion of Jungle, Peruvian and International cuisines which will make your taste buds dance! The food is consistently fresh and prepared to a high quality standard. Interesting concept of taking locally sourced ingredients and...preparing them in a new and original way. It is located on the second floor of a stunning rubber-boom era mansion with a spacious interior, high ceilings and a gallery exhibiting local fine art and handicrafts. They often host live music and events on the weekends. Also, the staff is always friendly, cheerful and attentive. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Iquitos who wants to experience the local flavor in elegance!More

We visited this bar for dinner. The place is really nice and cool. I didn’t expected something like this in Peru. Prices are quite high, but food was good. Minuses are quite slow service, food was fast, but we were waiting more than 15 minutes...to pay. And inside is super hot, they don’t have ac, So you are sweaty after 5 minutes. As we are vegeterian, this restaurant has not So Many options for us.More

The staff and owners have done an incredible job of respecting this historic buildings charms and enhancing them with great design and use of the open spaces. One looks over the city through beautiful tall windows and can feel part of this beauty and enjoy the breeze and the elegant attention to detail. Art is present here on all levels!
