Not really cheap, 25-30 for a menu. No vegetables or salad.. only fish which wasn’t completely fresh and which was not prepared very well.. and some plantain Sticky and dirty tables, same as the toilet.

Blanquita is a typical restaurant where you can come and try only jungle dishes. Delicious dinner and great service. I liked.

The offer is not huge but is all local cuisine and masterly done. You must come early in the evening to get a place. Cheap and good. A big name for a good place, don't look for other places, this is the one!

We found excellent food with affordable prices. It was referred by one local, and we got the best food it was worth to visit

Small place, favored by locals, not in the tourist mainstream. Prices are on the lower side. Went with a friend and shared a “juane de pollo” and a “tacacho con cecina”. Both were very good and enough. Well prepared, good ingredients. I will definitely go...to Blanquita next time I go to Iquitos. Just in case, a juane is like a tamal made of rice with a piece of chicken or pork or hen, an egg and an olive; it is wrapped in a bijao palm leave and boiled. The leave gives it a flavor and aroma. Tacacho is made of plantain cooked, mashed and mixed with bits of chicharrón. Portions are shaped in balls and fried or put on the grill for a brief time.More

I ate here alligator meat - delicious with the banana ball. My friend had a grilled fish and tecino - all delicious and moderate price 18-25 soles. A must-eat place!!! One of our best meals in Iquitos

Place is full of locals, food is amazing. Bustling atmosphere but that’s what happens in a place with great cheap food. Was kinda sad I didn’t get to go there a second time before leaving the city

This restaurant was recommended by our landlady as a place for traditional local food. The place was buzzing with a largely local clientele and is very much a neighbourhood restaurant which was great but meant that the environment was a little basic and Spartan. There...was a good selection of food at affordable prices and we took a pork and a chicken dish which were both really well-presented and tasty. All round good experience.More

If you want to taste a good exotic food from this region, this restaurant is the best you can find in the city. Good food and drink are available from Monday to Saturday. They do not open on Sunday.
