There are only eight peaks in France higher than 11,500 feet -- the elevation of Cusco. So, it's a bit odd to be eating terrific French food at such a high elevation. But, that's what the wife and I just did. She had the escargot to start, I had the beef tartare. Both dishes excellent. We both had the duck... More

It really was a great gastronomic experience, a great list of french wines (it is almost impossible to find good french wines in Cusco) was offered to us and we were helped to choose them to get the best pairing with our food. The degustation menu is a 7 course menu from starter to dessert. Really a rich experience for... More

I was curious about this place, but hadn't the opportunity to try it until this trip. The wait staff was the highlight. I loved how knowledgeable and enthusiastic he was about the wines. He suggested a syrah that was perfect for the 7 course meal we ordered. (I'm usually a cav person but we didn't want to order both a... More

Amazing food and fantastic service. They were so worried about us because my husband was ill from the altitude. He had the 5 course meal and I have the gnocchi and avocado curl. Everything was delicious. All our food was amazing. I only wish we could have lingered but we had to rush out to find a pharmacy for my... More

Came for lunch. Pretty slow day. Had the set menu and swapped the dessert for creme brulee. All the food was great. Even the snails!

We had the tasting menu of 7 courses and were not disappointed in the least! Each course was imaginative and prepared expertly. Fritz was attentive without being overbearing and guided us through the great courses. We left very happy and not overwhelmed or stuffed just very pleasantly treated to culinary treats by an expert kitchen.
