If your idea of a good bar is one in which you order a particular brand of cider (from the surly and uninterested staff), are brought a different (and weak, disgustingly flavoured) brand, told that "it's the same" when asking why they brought you this, then being charged the sort of prices that would make a London tourist-trap blush, then... Norton Rat's is not exactly full of local flavor. However, it is full of an excellent selection of beer, both local and imports. Due to a prime location on the Plaza de Armas, expect to pay a pretty hefty price for your beverages. If you can live with that, it is a nice place to stop for a cold beer... More

We visited twice with friends in Cusco and this place really is a bit of a dive considering its prime location. The place smells strongly of rats (ironically) and is generally filthy, especially the WCs. It generally feels like a student union at a rough university. I normally judge the kitchen on the basis of the WCs, and they were... More

My husband and I frequent this place quite often as we love playing darts - however, the last time we went the dart boards were completely destroyed - as in barely even usable AND they started charging a rental fee to use their darts (which are terrible quality). Prior to this you would just leave them S/50 as a deposit... More

This is a cool place to go for a drink. If you are into scooters you will really enjoy it. Look for the Brotherhood 74 koozie.

Great spot to take a break and have a drink and overlook Plaza Del Armas below. There are only a few balcony stools and its a bit of a tight fit out there, but totally worth it for a great pit stop. Inside it is a tavern type bar that reminds me of those found in the U.S.

I like this spot. On plaza del armas you can sit up here with a beer and watch the world. I haven't eaten here but heard that the burger is amazing. It has a pool table and dart boards to keep you entertained as well as a large cocktail list.

We did not eat at Norton Rats, but we did have a few drinks and felt right at home. This style of bar is rare in Peru, and it reminded us of a neighborhood-style locals bar in the US. The first time we went, we happened to show up while a Peruvian soccer game was on TV and Norton's was... More

We saw all the plaza the armas from here with a good Peruvian beer, a good place to take a drink and enjoy the view.
