I wish I could recommend this place as a solid vegan or vegetarian restaurant. The service and location on the river are 5 star but the food is inconsistent and weak and get a 1 Star. The lentil burger was a mushy disappointment. The Popeye...More

The new location is probably one of the best places to enjoy a meal in Cuenca! A beautiful view of the river, no buses or traffic fumes to contend with and the fool is excellent. Don't miss the Friday specials.

Thank you Mike! We are so glad you had a chance to come enjoy the view on one of Cuenca's sunny days!

Well--The concept is good--but really? The ambiance doesn't strike me as veggie /organic/ healthy except for the veggie bar thing at the entrance. Frankly, the place leaves me cold. More plants, more greenery, nice music maybe?? Little' greenie-type' appetizers on the table --oh come on--...More

I tried The Vegetable Bar recently for a juice smoothie and was not disappointed. Everything was clean. The location overlooked the river so it was relaxing and pretty. The smoothie was mixed as I watched from fresh fruits and vegetables. Everything was very good.

Great fried shrimp and fries for lunch. If you feel the need for an American almuerzo, this is a great choice. Juices, paninis, cubanos, big salads.

Try their chicken pot pie! Some of the best ever. They also have all you can eat fish and chips / or shrimp and chips that will keep you coming back on a regular basis. There is something for everyone at this place.

Trivia starts at 6:30 sharp. Most people show up between 5:15-5:30 for dinner and to join a team if they don't have one already. Hope to see you then!
