Try the Peruvian spicy fish ceviche for an outstanding meal. Other seafood choices abound, for those more into shrimp, oysters, etc. than I am.

Avoid this place. First of all, the food is expensive and less than regular. Maybe the only option is the "Encebollado", all the other dishes are nothing special. The service is something like a very sad service, respectful, but sad.

Steps away from our hotel, spacious and extremely clean a fantastic place to eat seafood. A broad array of choices I absolutely loved their Peruvian Ceviche and sauted fish fillets. Not a bit pricey and a great value on the dollar spent.

It's in a quiet area, away from the noise of the tourist restaurants. I had the mixed Ceviche which was nice. Then the steamed Corvina, which was really tasty. Starter, main and one beer $25.

I tried the famous ceviche negra as well as sopa encebellado and an empandada with shrimp. Everything I tried was delicious! Especially the shrimp empanada. I enjoyed the ceviche negra but I would recommend getting a small amount the first time trying it as the flavor is delicious but powerful! The service here was excellent.

The service was excellent, and fast. It is an older restaurant and felt like a locals place, so not overly flash - but by no means a criticism,I liked it. The food was good, wife had an excellent seafood dish and I had a chicken fillet, perfectly cooked on BBQ or grill, juicy, with fries and salad. Well located in... More

After trying to go to this restaurant, on a few occasions, we finally found it open for lunch on our last day, a Friday. We were greeted by beautifully carved wood doors and a smiling waitstaff. Despite the language barrier, we were able order and converse with waiter. Even though this is a seafood restaurant, we both ordered the lemon... More

The ceviche here, particularly the pescado, is delicious. Also the encebollado normal and mixtos are just mouthwateringly good. The ser ice is extremely efficient, knowledgable, and friendly. A great spot for afternoon Ceviche.

I was there twice while visiting Quito. The food was excellent, the service fast and good, and the serving portions are huge. I'm fat and eat a lot. I could hardly finish my meal on both occasions. I would have gone back for more if I had more time in Quito.

Thank Jazz M
