We spent a few days at the wee house in Casa Marin and decided to try this place on the last night. We placed an order by phone and picked it up in 20 minutes then took it back to the house and enjoyed it with some salad and wine from the house. The portions are generous and the ribs... More

Pig. Lots of it. Very tasty ribs. Sides of salad & chips, some beer or wine, and you'll leave replete!

I was there for lunch with friends. We had the meat combination plates and the food was excellent and the portions were more than adequate.

I have been to this restaurant on 2 occasions. This place is so good and popular, that it is always crowded, therefore, you must be ready to wait for a while before they find a table for you and your fellow eaters. However, once you are inside... you must order the most delicious pork in the region, and your meal... More

The best ribs I had in Chile, delicious! Be aware that they serve a huge portion. The side dishes like salad and potatoes are rather simple and mediocre. Restaurant itself is very basic as well, an old house in a small village. Do not forget to visit the case Marin vineyard in the same village.

Amazing pork. Just go and stuff your face with meat. I don't even know if they offer anything other than ribs or pork chops. It doesn't matter. They don't need to. It's about a 5 minute walk to Casa Marin Vineyard as well, so you can knock off two great places at once.

To me, maybe the best place in Chile where to eat meat. The price really worth it (its not expensive) ask for a costillar deshuesado, native french fries and a ensalada a la chilena (tomato and onion). U wont regret ( but be careful because the restorant is "el sauce" the one that is close to a little bridge, no... More

Great ribs and other traditional Chilean food. The meringue cake with special icing was the best. We came with a large group and received wonderful service. Apparently, this is the place to go on special occasions - for Chileans returning to the country.

This place did not look like much, but the ribs were delish! It's not in the city of Valparaiso, but it is in the state of Valparaiso. I would definitely go back for the ribs!

We had a fabulous lunch at El Sauce. The pembre, bread, salad, and ribs were fantastic. We had a cake for dessert that was unlike any cake we'd ever tasted. It was so unique and delicious! This is a nice little restaurant. By the way, saying that it is in Valparaiso is misleading.
