Stopped in for quick lunch. Pasta was pretty good. The caprese lacked flavor even with dome vinegar and oil. Service was fair almost an after thought.

Good selection of traditional Italian fare on the menu, it is a very busy place especially at lunchtime

Years ago this place served great pizza, decent pasta, excellent desserts and good drinks. Nowadays it has become a place to have lunch Monday to Friday for office workers in the area, since Piola offers a good priced menu. We visited today with family for lunch and it was so bad. Let's begin. No lasagna. No stuffed pasta. According to... More

The pizzas are very good. Nice dough. Tasty. Meals also good. However, the service is very bad. Takes ages.......definitely is going down on this área.

We went to Piola's around 8:00 on a Tuesday night. The service was terrific, and the pizza chefs allowed the kids to watch and even make their own pizzas. The kids spent most of the night exchanging Spanish and Italian phrases with the chefs. We ordered a mushroom pizza and the Pisa and they were both fantastic. They were out... More

It might have been good in the distant past, but not today. Bruschetta with soft bread? Overcooked Milanezza? Spaghetti allo scoglio too spicy and with surimi? Decor is falling apart, service slow and distracted. I am not coming back. We did not try the pizza, which looked good from a distance, but I would not come just for the pizza.

The spare angular style is attractive but lends itself to increasing the noise levels. The service was friendly but not terribly on top of things---I had to re-request my plato de fondo. The food was ok, but unexciting. I had the pennette rosate and my wife the gnocci a la ragú. There was nothing *wrong* with them per se, but... More

Overall, we liked the atmosphere and it's in a nice neighborhood. However, the food took forever to arrive and then a couple of my ravioli were not heated up all the way. Every time we needed something it was required to search for the server, but when she arrived she was pleasant, just hard to get her attention. We met... More

I ate dinner (on my own) at Piola in July 2015 after a long day of business meetings. I wanted a tasty pizza a cold beer and efficient service. Piola satisfied all of these counts. The service was efficient and happy - I spoke Spanish so I am unsure as to how English-only speakers would find it. The pizza was... More

The big problem was lack of waiters. They were all overthe place but it was not fast or effocient enough service. The saads and pizza were good though.
