totally overrated. It's not a bad place, it's just way too overrated. It's not "an experience", it's not a "pleasure to your senses"... it's just a place where they serve you well cooked food with a story behind each plate; and they charge you for the story. A LOT. just not worth it.

First the good: awesome Chilean fusion dishes. Really top quality, delicious, delicate tastes, surprising and superb presentation of the plates and drinks. Their signature dish of cordero a la inversa is really delicious, what a treat! I loved the dish with Salicornia, really nice twist to it. The pairing wines matched the food perfectly, only the Tabali Riesling would not... More

The service, the 15 courses and the great wine pairing. It was an experience, not just a meal. Highly recommend!

I will give more than 100% for the presentation. Really over the top for 10-12 course meal. But some dishes were just okay to my taste bud--may be because it was using all local vegetables/leaves and meats which I could not appreciate. "Donkey's milk cheese" was first for me...

We booked this three months before our trip to coincide with our last night in Santiago. Wow. What an amazing feast ur was! A journey through Chilean geography and wines, with a big focus on seafood and dessert. We had the 14 course meal with matching wines, most of which we enjoyed. A must visit for any foodie.

Truly one of the worlds great restaurants. This is a unique place with excellent food. It's simple if the idea of 15 unique courses unlike anything else you have ever had excites you than go. If you want the same old then don't. It's not cheap but you have to look at it as a chance to go to a... More

What can I say. Nice place, delicious Pisco sour, lovely wine. The food. Awful. $10 of food served over 15 bland, empty, unseasoned - rock infested courses. The staff were amazing. How they sold each course on the plate was a marvel. Each course went back half or uneaten. I'm not fussy and very adventurous. I will eat locusts, snails,... More

Perhaps the lamb crucified on embers tended by a sweating, hatless chef surrounded by a messy array of dust-coveted kitchen implements & swatting away swarms of flies as the visual centerpiece of both your arrival and the view from the dining room picture window was an apt warning of how far haute Chilean cuisine is behind that of Peru or... I pick restaurant when I travel based on Michelin Guide and since there is no Michelin rating in Chile I turned to the Top 100 restaurant list. I always read fellow TripAdvisor's "terrible" reviews to see what people complains about as a diligence process. One review claimed "avoid at all causes it is a scam". Too funny! Scam on what... The presentation and the attention to details by the staff and chefs is impeccable. The whole experience was certainly memorable. Some of the food I was less fond of but certainly I ate food I never in my wildest dreams would have. Some of the food was wonderful. And the staff (chefs and everyone else alike) were wonderful and attentive.... More
