Stopped here on a whim while looking around my hotel for a place for dinner. I'm an American working in Chile on business. The waiter didn't speak any English but we figured things out easily enough. He didn't seem to mind that I didn't speak Spanish, either. Sushi was generously portioned, and good tasting. No ill effects.

Not the best quality. Reasonable price for the quality i could say, but wouldn't recommend to others at all.

Niu Sushi Bar is located in the middle of Vitacura avenue, not easy to walk but plenty of transport and easy by car with some parking available. Sitting outside was great but note it is a smoking area. Fortunately we didn't get poisoned. Food was simply great, staff was helpfull enough, and a great promotion if you pay cash can... More

Niu is a pretty good sushi bar in Santiago, large menu, good service and good rolls. Tako Spicy is by far the best roll. Sashimi here is generous.

Very good sushi, fresh and creative, for peanuts. Not very beautiful, look like a pharmacy or a dental clinic. Slow service, great for delivery or take away. Probably the best sushi in town for that range of money.

Stopped in for lunch and the waitress said it was at least a 25 minute wait to get sushi and recommended we order off the appetizer menu. We were in hungry and didn't want to wait 25+ minutes to eat so we took her advice. Ordered some chicken, chicken and shrimp with vegetables, and a chicken rice bowl and everything... More

I have eaten from this place a couple of times, mostly because when I have craved sushi like crazy, it was the closest to me. All of the times the sushi didn't taste fresh at all, and even once the crab pieces inside the roll came with the plastic wrap. Yes it's cheap, even more if you pay with cash... More

We visited niu sushi after checking into our hotel in the area and needing a feed. Located on a sidestreet to the main drag, there is a small outdoor eating area with a heaving kitchen pumping sushi out to a squadron of delivery bikes. We went for two combo meals with sushi, gyoza and fried rice. The sushi was fresh... More

Went to this sushi restaurant because it was near our hotel, but honestly wasn't floored. It was decent but nothing special. Most of our sushi was fairly bland. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back or recommend it
