Osaka is a Peruvian-Japanese (nikkei) restaurant. When Osaka opened, it was an excellent restaurant with innovative dishes and a large variety of fresh seafood. And duck... Now it is past the top. Not so much innovation, few types of seafood - typically several options of the menu is not available. Also the quality and preparation is not as it was.... More

I have eaten here a few times and each time am blown away with the talent that comes from the kitchen team. Located in the cool W Hotel, the restaurant boasts high ceiling and is light and airy. Every dish you want to try. The waiting staff know their stuff as do the chefs. Everything's tastes perfect, nothing pretentious just... More

My husband and I were visiting Santiago from NY and had dinner at Osaka with two friends. We didn't make a reservation and it was Saturday night, so we had to wait 45 minutes, but it was worth it! We shared everything, sampling several aspects of the menu. All dishes were delicious!

We were a family of four and so we orders about 7 small dishes to share. Everything was wonderful. The service was excellent. What we liked the most were the mushrooms and the tiraditos. The only down side is that this Osaka doesn't have tuna on the menu, but everything was delicious.

No wonder Osaka Santiago has won several awards, including the best restaurant in Chile. The food is simply delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and has a nice atmosphere with oriental decor. The menu is quite complete, and if you do not like Japanese food there are several options like duck dumpling and beef with potatoes in nikei sauce. The waiters are... More

The best fusion Japanese in the world. I would say better than world famous Nobu. The dishes I loved are salmon sashimi, fuego, mi Peru and spicy shrimp. Also had a few other dishes but these above ones are the best. Service was excellent. Server helped us in ordering. Located inside the W hotel. They also have other Osaka in... More

Osaka has become my wife's favorite restaurant in Santiago, a perfect example of nikei food, a tasty mixture between japanese and peruvian food, with magnificent presentations of exotic plates. We usually let the chef send over what he likes best, simply because is the best way to experience new flavours that explode in your mouth without the prejudgement about certain... More

We went to Osaka for our anniversary and where greeted with a free glass of sparkling, which I thought was a very nice gesture. It was all uphill from there. Our waiter was quick, attentive and friendly, the tasting menu was to die for, the wine selection was great and the overall ambiance enjoyable. And for the level of quality... More

I went to this place about 3 times now and I enjoyed it every time. Japanese-Peruvian-Chilean fusion. Very nice. Wine list and drinks list are also very good. On last trip, the octopus plate was not that great (hard to chew it!). Also avoid tables next to kitchen doors as it is loud and lots of traffic - I think... More
