Ambrosia is really a good restaurant, but not as good as it has potential to be. Not in a negative way, but I think that in two-three years it will be even better and deserve the place among the 50-best of South-America that it has today. I think it entered the list based upon expectations more than actual level. Today... More

This restaurant was one of a handful that Kensington Tours, our travel agent, recommended to us for our visit to Santiago. We were very happy to have chosen to dine here. We were staying in the Lastarria neighborhood close to downtown Santiago, so getting to the restaurant in Vitacura was about a 30 minute drive in traffic. It was well... More

I heard of this place as a recommendation from a mate. The restaurant is lovely, food and wine were really nice. This is a solid fine dining restaurant. We both thought for some reason it was going to be more "South American" from what we read about but the restaurant. We had the Waygu beef, pork terrine, lamb, and ceviche... More

Really good food, moderate priced, reasonable service, interesting and very relaxed. menu as a whole is rather eclectic and changes daily. We had an amazing foie gras and also sweet breads [ok not special] and the duck was soubised but flavorful and fish entrees and the desserts were special. The wine list is quite good

The food was horrible, too salty. We requested new plates and we got the same again. The owner did not even come to appologized. Seriously, it was not possible to eat. The service was ok and indeed cosy place.

I was in Chile for a week and ended up going twice to the restaurant, it is absolutely marvelous!!!!! The food is sophisticated but at the same time very simple. Both the entrees and the main courses were breathtaking. Biggest surprise was caramalized foie gras and wagyu. The desserts are very much worth appreciating. I had an avocado cheesecake which... The restaurant isn't easy to find... but once you get in you know its going to be special... its like a really nice family house with its family decoration. It has the possibility to sit outside or inside the house. Menu is different and innovative... dishes are well presented and the food is great! Nice quiet place for a family,... More

Not only was the decoration very cosy and attractive, but the dishes were each a nice surprise and perfectly served. The deserts are amazing.

The staff was super helpful & they spoke both English & Spanish. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful & peaceful. On top of it all, the food was the best I've tasted in Chile, & some of the best food I've had in my life. This restaurant is not to be missed!

It is out of the way and 2 taxis would not take us to Vitacura, we arrived a bit late but we waited for a table to become free. The pisco sour at bar is strong! The service was great we had wine pairing done with the meal. No regrets except that it Is a long flight to return ...

Thank laloux
