A few blocks away from the Hotel Cumbres. Wonderful menu, extensive wine list, everything so very well prepared. A must visit in Puerto Varas.

Went there for lunch. Has a lot of tables but few waiters.. Maybe you'll have to wait a while to be served but the wait is worth it. I had a really flavourful quinoa salad with smoked salmon, and my friend ordered ribs cooked with coffee bbq and wine, superb. Did not see that comming. They serve nice pastries aswell.

Very poor service. Waited 40 minutes for the menus. Same as last year, has not improved at all. It is not recommended.

All the produce of La Gringa is way too tempting. They bake fresh every day & can sell out especially the choc chip cookies. They do breakfasts & lunches & make birthday cakes too order Worth a visit

We went 3 times for lunch or dinner, and once for afternoon tea! Wonderful stop. Miguel is the manager who looks after everybody with the same attentive behaviour. The food is superbly prepared and elegantly presented. Both my wife and I discovered Kingclip fish which is so very tasty but they will add mash potatoes if you ask them nicely... More

A couple of nights ago I went to the neighboring restaurant mercado 605 (they belong together i think? Same staff at least). Although the food was good, I wasn't too positive about the experience. However, based on a recommendation I decided to try out La Gringa for lunch. I had a quinoa salad which was really good, big! See picture!... More

I only had an espresso macchiato but it was good. Just was I was needing at the moment. The pastries/cakes look really good though and someone else later told me that they had enjoyed the desserts there very much. I want to go back and try them all.

stopped in from a walking tour. Really cute place (there are 2 La Gringas, same owner.) Chocolate ice cream had a profound chocolate flavor, and very creamy. My husband - who tastes ice cream all over the world (amateur, not professional, though I think he qualifies for semi-pro status) approves. It was a chilly rainy morning and the helado will... More

La Gringa is a lovely restaurant. I am travelling as part of a group and it was booked by the tour leader. Great choice!!! The menu is incredibly varied in a group of 18 I don't think anybody had the same meal! The service was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and very patient! The group were predominantly English... More

I had an awesome shrimp salad here--very fresh and flavorful. The lemonade was delicious as well. Plenty of gf dessert options, yum!
