It felt like a traditional Portuguese restaurant with lots of comments hanging on the wall from the visitors. When we were there, the small restaurant was full of locals and only a couple of tourists. Pisco Sour was good. The Calamari appetizer was simply bad and the main course we split was grilled fish which was average. Price tag was... More

Tasted a bit reheated. It wasn't expensive, but it wasn't great. We had high hopes, but were a bit let down. The seafood soup was not fresh and the cuts of meat were tough.

A tour guide took us to this restaurant after a day of sightseeing in Puerto Varas and the food was outstanding. Abalones, octopus, shrimp, fish....every dish was better than the last! We tried Pisco Sours throughout Chile and this restaurant had the best ones. What a feast!

This is the kind of restaurant that stays in your memory not only for the food but for the experience. It's a family run small restaurant (really small actually) were you are even served by "el gordito" himself, we had some pisco sours which he made and they were delicious. The other staff members are reall nice as well. The... More

Another lovely meal. I've been several times and this time I tried the caldillo de congrio. It was very tasty. I especially appreciated the burst of fresh flavor from the parsley.

A friend recommended this place so we decided to try it. The food was just average but the ambiance was unusual and the staff was great. I'm glad we went there just for the fun environment.

We were recommended to go here and I have to say I was skeptical because of the hole in the wall type look but do not hesitate and be prepared for a short wait for a table! It is what seems to be a family run place and so authentic and delicious!!! If you are in Puerto Varas I recommend... More

My husband and I went here for lunch. I had the seafood stew which was the most seafood I have ever had in one sitting. It was served in a stone bowl and all it was, was every seafood you could imagine and broth. Yum!! It was so rich I couldn't even finish it. And also only at 5,000 which... More

This is a hole in the wall of a restaurant, seemingly family run. Dad/grandad mixes the drinks and takes the money. Mum, sisters, daughter run around serving the most outstanding fish and seafood authentically prepared. No frills here , just fab fresh food and a warm faily feel. The queueing is worth the wait!,

I'm giving this spot an excellent based on the fact that you truly feel like a mother is serving you food from her kitchen and bringing it to the dinner table. Not just one mother, but 5 mothers! All of the women who are waitress here are in their 60's or older and they're so incredibly friendly and accommodating that... More
