Odètte named after the chef‘s grandmother is a true testimonial to her cuisine that her grandson has adopted. Chef only uses the best ingredients sourced from France, E.U., and Japan (not necessarily in that order) and no other country need apply. The wine list is...simply spectacular with some of the finest red French wines one can obtain — not Australian, American or new age wines that pass for swill. Each dish is carefully plated and created. It‘s presentation at the table is nothing short of proper theatrics and each service person has been well trained in its intricacies devoid of the usual pretence one finds from wait staff in top restaurants. The staff are cordial, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about their chef with a singular devotion to his mission. The passion they have for their job is not matched by any other industry or wait staff other than some of the restaurants I‘ve listed on this app previously. Gone are the days of pretence. You either create exemplary dishes or you do not and no amount of pretence will save your enterprise. And this should serve as a warning to other „French“ restaurants in Singapore not listed so far. It only categorically illustrates the fact that just because you have a French and/or Italian name does not necessarily mean you can prepare French/Italian cuisine. The dishes are each scrumptious and nicely paired with a wine. Not only is the Sommelier capable offering pairings but the wait staff is equally versed in doing so. Kudos to their training and effortless work of the Sommelier in engaging the staff in order to propel the dishes to heights the Chef is proud. It‘s not a miss should you be in town and care to visit this EIGHTH BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD — and it shows.More

Terrific dining experience in a gorgeous space. The food was creative, beautiful and delicious. They checked all the boxes for me. Chef Julien came to say hi when delivering our dessert! That was truly a starstruck moment. We had a photo with him too! The...service was top notch. We requested a specific table and they managed to fulfil it. To be honest, I was very impressed with such level of food and service standard in Singapore.More

I waited over 3 months to get here, navigating lockdowns etc. Finally made it last night to celebrate my birthday and it was quite the experience. Food was really cutting edge, service impeccable---waiters/waitresses always smiling who had actual personalities and were great to chat with....They knew what they were doing inside out. Definitely expensive but to try once a year--it was worth it. One negative comment: DO NOT book a table for anywhere other than in the main dining room--we were put in the adjoining private room and it really loses the atmosphere which you are paying dearly for, it is an important part of the overall experience.More

Extremely good meals - beware of the bill. Service was perfect - delicious and precise meals. Special mention of the house sourdough and the balance between all ingredients on most plates.

Was seated near the kitchen where one can see the preparation of the food items. Service was excellent and meticulous. Seeing that I use the cutlery on the left, they quickly change the placement of the items for my convenient. The restaurant manager come by...for a small talk which was great for the calibre of this restaurant. Food was both delicious and pleasing to the eyes. One could not fault the dish at all. A complimentary dessert was also present for the birthday boy! Ambience was great too! You definitely can feel the class where the design has a meaning as well which the service stafc explained to us. Would definitely want to dine again but the pricetag is something to think about.More

Housed in the National Gallery of Singapore, this Michelin Star restaurant has a long waiting list but it is totally worth the effort, even for a more private table that is not in main dining hall. Their exquisite food is delightful and so is the...excellent service that makes one feel like a star if you are celebrating a special occasion. Vegetarian option is also available for their dinner set.More

Each dish was excellent, balanced flavors and well executed. The whole experience would have been even more outstanding with a progression of flavors to create a more expansive range of flavors and scents. Service was excellent, staff knows their food & source, wines, cheese. Ambience...was also beautiful and modern. Overall, great experience!More
