We held a company dinner here with staff & overseas visitor. Most dishes were poorly done. The king prawns were overlooked and became too hard, their specialty sambal kang kong has this "chaotah" (burnt) taste as the sambal was burnt, the buns for chili crabs were too oily and their chili crabs were just so-so only. The manager gave poor... More

3 of us ate here last night; chilli crab and a red grouper with one plate of seasonal veges. No complaints about the food, waiters needed prompted to bring bibs for crab, napkins finger bowls but one very hefty bill! So yes the restaurant is beautifully positioned on the waters edges, a real lure for visitors. My advice is to... More

I wanted to taste the infamous chili crab before leaving and so I found my way to the Quayside. The staff were very helpful and attentive and my waiter helped me select the best dish as well! My crab arrived and it was ginormous! And oh so delicious!!! And to top it off, the waiter heard organized a lovely chocolate... More

After walking around we chose this place for dinner. There are so many other choices near to choose. The food was a disappointment. Pretty expensive for the quality of the food. Wouldn't go back here

I fell for the tourist-trap and dined here without reading any reviews. I left still feeling hungry and with a massive hole in my wallet. My mother and I couldn't get into the highly-recommended Jumbo and decided to take a chance on this lovely looking restaurant on the water. The service seemed nice to start with and then we waited,... More

We sat on the outer edge over the river last evening and it was lovely. Light breeze, cold drink and the service was friendly and fast. The menu is thick and offers plenty of variety and meal sizes. Our medium sized entry of soft shell crab $42 was some of the best we've had, and the sweet and sour chicken... More

Due to the prices ($$$$) I can't give this place anything but a poor review. At half the cost it would have been a great experience We were told chilli crab was must have while on our first visit to Singapore, and this place has a great location. It was busy when we arrived and had quite a few "reserved"... More

Rude staff, hard sell mineral water, crab size (2.5 kg for 2 should be enough!) and anything under the sun!! Go jumbo sea food!!

Clarke Quay is a tourist location, and as a generalization, prices tend to be higher here. The only reason we came here was because we were staying nearby and we wanted chilli crab. (The alternatives would be Jumbo or No Signboard across the river) Having lived in Singapore before for almost 8 years we've had better chilli crab (the crab... More
