This restaurant is taking advantage of monopolizing food options in botanic gardens as it is the only restaurant there. They charge very expensive. Surprisingly their tables were fully reserved and only 6-7 tables had customers. It was shocking to wait for 2 hours and see 15-20 reserved tables still empty with no customers. Finally after 2 hours waiting, i managed... More

We order the Breakfast set. The portion is enough for 2 women with small stomach. While the order served, the nice waitress said ... one person should wait to the dishes. Otherwise the birds will take your food. So we have to take turn if we want to take some additional cutleries, salt and pepper shakers and anything else. While... More

Thought a cup of tea would be a pleasant interlude after a walk through the gardens but $5 is just ridiculous for a tea bag in a cup of hot water. At those prices a civilised pot of loose leaf tea should not be much to ask, instead of being served tea dust in a sock. Tea is the same... More

Breakfast time was busy but when we returned at lunchtime it was much quieter. While catering to western tastes there is local food as well which was excellent.

Love this place primarily because it is pet friendly (unlike most places in SG). The food is decent too, I usually have the pastas. The local food is super overpriced, but tastes really good, so why not?

Be prepared for long lines and waiting for a table, as the diners simply can't bear to leave! Decent food but double hawker prices. Breakfast closes at 11am. Their Gourmet breakfast is great, but if you want local flavours, you cannot go wrong with the Mee Siam or Nanyang Laksa.

Had lunch here. Kids meals had not a vegetable in sight although the fish and chips were good and a generous portion - an adult could eat it. The nasi goreng was not good. Rice and fried egg were cold, one limp piece of lettuce and cucumber, achar only cucumber and chicken wings were deep fried from the freezer by... More

I had lunch at this place while having a break from the long walks within the Botanic Gardens. The place has fans to cool you down while you're having your meal. The system of getting the food is to order at the counter, then it will be delivered to where you sat. There's a device to trace for the staffs... More

Last 2nd May 2016, I wrote a review on Casa Verde ( “ All day Cafe-Restaurant in cool, green surroundings”. We just had dinner there again tonight. The eatery has not changed, the ambiance is the same, and the service is just as friendly, efficient and polite. They are still as busy as ever, this being a Saturday night and... More
