As tourists in Singapore, we visited Haji Lane and wanted to soak up the atmosphere and the food of this famous street food junction. Most of the restaurants here make either Turkish or Lebanese food and this restaurant was quite full inspite of not offering any discounts on food, unlike the rest of the restaurants on the street. With that as the indicator, we decide to have dinner here. We were given a table for 2 on the side of road, which is better than sitting inside which was a bit of furnace. We ordered the hummus, lavash and Adana chicken kebab. We also ordered a lemonade mint drink. The food was definitely tasty, the hummus and the lavash were the specialties which didn't disappoint and the adana chicken kebab was charcoal grilled, which added to the smoky taste and was incredible. The prices are a bit pricey for the amount of food that they give, but being the holiday and tourist season, we couldn't complain.

The street atmosphere draws you in. The service was good. Sat outside on sidewalk for atmosphere. Had a toubili , a large dip platter and some lamb shush kebab. With some extra bread. All very good.
But a quick look along the street seems most places serve the same fare at similar prices. This one has no alcohol. But the mint tea was delicious.

Was so happy to be recieving by Karim the Executive Chef in this one month old restaurant that is full of people ! Love the Lamb Mandi Rice, next visit I want to try the chicken mandi rice. Another yummie dish called Iskender kebab, I love the meat super delicious 💕💕💕 Chicken Lahmachun is also very delicious, told that it’s Chef Karim Grandma recipe 🥰🥰 the attention he gave customer and the quality food is already winning us being back soon. Must try this place if you want authentic Turkish Food.

We booked this restaurant for a birthday celebration but the food was very disappointing. We ordered a mix Mandi with roast chicken and lamb but the dishes served was mix Mandi with kebabs which I dislike. When I question the person who took my order he keep on mention it is the same, there are also chicken and lamb with the kebab and question me what is the problem! The problem is that is not the dishes I ordered! If kebabs and roast chicken and lamb is the same then why there is 2 different dishes on the menu? The kebabs is also overly salty, which we couldn’t finish due to this. I also ordered a mint tea, when I ask if it comes in cup or pot, the same person who took our order told me is in a cup, then said “ I can gv you a pot and 2 cups so you can shared” conveniently dismissed that pot need to pay for extra. I discover that only when the bill arrived.
Overall very bad experience, very dishonest restaurant, never apologised for mistake made.

I chose Cappadocia because it has the highest rating among all the Turkish joints in Bussorah Street. Much to my disappointment, the food was unimpressive, the venue is shabby with broken tiles and a toilet I couldn’t use, the price was scandalous for the food we consumed.
However, the service was very prompt and friendly although the conduct of some waiters was highly debatable.

A highly rated restaurant amongst many others near Arab Street, we weee disappointed in our experience. The ambience is okay and the staff are out on the streets hustling for customers. The menu is appealing and the food itself - meze and shawarma- were quite tasty. However, the service was very slow and sufficiently inattentive that we were aggravated. The prices seemed high though Singapore is an expensive place for table service. We will choose another restaurant next time we want Middle East/Mediterranean food.

What a disappointment this was. We had read the previous reviews (five out of five stars) and were looking forward to having an authentic Turkish meal in the Arab district for a bit of a change. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fine and spacious and the deco looks clean and neat (although the cleanliness didn’t extend to the toilet area on our visit). We ordered salad dishes, lamb kababs and meatball with tomato sauce dish plus a couple of bottled beers. To our disappointment, the dishes lacked authentic flavour and were brand. Also generally didn’t come close to justify the high cost. For two small bottles of beer, we were charged S dollar 25 plus tax and service, so in total just under 30 S dollars! We won’t be returning.

The food was very delicious, authentic and full of flavour! Presentation of the food is very grand on big plates. Service was excellent! Definitely one of the best Turkish restaurants in Singapore! The restaurant owner is very humble, friendly and most important of all, not hard selling. Food is excellent, portion is big. Definitely will return for their delicious food and Boss’ friendly service

My first visit here. Ordered mixed cassa kebab, the lamb was succulent and soft, rice very flavourful. Mint mocktail super refreshing. Definitely gonna visit here again with family and friends.

Had the mixed kebab platter between 2 of us and unfortunately it’s probably the worst Turkish meal we’ve had anywhere in the world. Meat was dry and overcooked. Rice was bland not even a hint of lemon for a bit of flavouring. Salad old and wilting. Served with 2 small dips which I can only describe as gravy and garlic mayo. Too overpriced for what you get with added service charge too. No service to speak of, staff are rushing around like headless chickens and you have to call one of them over to order and pay. Chefs cooking in football shirts, no hats, chef whites or even so much as an apron. Would not go back and definitely would not recommend

The food is good but nothing other the top. What I did not appreciate is Mr Mahmoud ! The waiter was being a bit of a bully and forced us to write a review. He took my phone and wrote the review himself and forced my entire family to do so. He proceeded to go to all the table and forced everyone to write reviews hence why the restaurant is so highly rated ! We also spent around 280 Singapore dollars for 5 people which was quite expensive for the number of dishes we had.

A bunch of us friends went to Cappadocia restaurant the evening of Dec 3rd The restaurant accommodated our large group and sat us in a lovely private corner. Mahmoud and his colleagues were very kind and helpful as we ordered the dishes and were patient with our many requests during the meal. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The kebabs, the pide, and the kunefe were all to die for. Excellent food and excellent service filled with warmth. The environment that the restaurant created made us feel like we were at home and it nurtured an atmosphere of bonding and everlasting memories of a wonderful evening. Thank you Cappadocia restaurant.

The food was prepared by authentic Turkish chef and everything tasted so awesome and the drinks were so delicious too and unique. I felt like I was transported to Middle East! And loving the music totally put me in the middle eastern mood and enhanced my experience. Fully enjoyed myself and my family was vegetarian and they too loved the food. I’m not vegetarian but I like the meats there. The lady host Lynette was so warm and welcoming and made our entire enjoyment even more fun. Lovely staffs that were all fine and prompt in their service. Highly recommended

When l checked in Parkroyal at the Beach Hotel in Singapore and found across the street full of Turkish foods at this area. Luckily l chose Cappadocia after browsing many same Turkish food restaurants, we were so enjoyed every dish including dessert. The waiter was so generous offered us a pot of typical Turkish tea for free. So warm service and treatment. I will come back if l visit Singapore again.

Very friendly staff had the cold mezze would have been nice with an extra piece of bread for the amount of dips. They were so good it was a shame to leave some of it! Also have complimentary fresh mint tea which was delicious. Lovely decor too.
