Group of 4, ordered the Fish Taco, meat platter with Fries, all tasted great, Staff recommended craft beer to go with the food. All in all, wonderful experience, will definitely make a few more trips here. Highly recommend it !

We made a reservation on a lark after seeing the bar pop up on a reservation app. It did not disappoint, we had the bone marrow, fish tacos, pardron peppers, a cocktail and a fruit larger. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive to the needs of our kids aged 4 and 6. Highly recommended, shout out to the service by Suven, Wdmond and Faez

They have a huge selection of craft beers, some limited based on the occasion. Service was excellent. The waiter gave recommendations when I was unsure of what to pick, and good gosh the beer was great! They kept the water topped up, food was served fast and they were polite even when we got a bit carried away.
Will definitely come back for more beers! Cheers!

Great selection of beers - though a pint will set you back $20, the beers were delicious. The food though... had amazing descriptions but sadly were tasteless. I ordered the hand cut fries with seaweed mayo (this was average), Vietnamese spring rolls (bland) and Curried chicken wings (unseasoned). I’ll be back for beers, but definitely not the food!

The food at this restaurant is the worst I have had in Singapore. The fish tacos tasted like detergent. The 4 people I was there with screwed up their face at each dish we had from the hummus to the wings. Nothing tasted like it was advertised, wings that tasted of chilli not chicken fir instance. Can’t believe this place is even open in Singapore. Avoid it at all costs if u are hungry. The service is fine, the only positive.

thank you for taking time to leave the review, however I think it's not really fair for my staff as they are working hard and do their best to please everyone, it would have been easier to speak up on the spot and then we would amended the problem straight, also Heart Of Darkness is bar basically and our main focus is beer, we are working hard on the food program and your feedback would have been appreciated on the day itself better that this painful review. again the team is doing his best to welcome and please everyone and I think this review is a bit too much ...

The pizza dough is thin and biscuity not my kind of pizza but ok. Ate the meat lovers, toppings is ok, a bit on the sweet side. (I believe the dough is the pre made type) . Fried wings are so so. Nachos are ok.
The dumplings are good, the beef one is pan fried, the chicken one is steamed. Think it is better to try the Vietnamese dishes. (Its a Vietnamese company)
The taps, tried the kumquat do not taste the kumquat, cucumber pilsner is better, the American IPA is ok, but nothing special. The flight sample is no longer available, but they could do it if you asked, but it would be SGD $10 per glass.
The service is pretty good.

we are currently changing Chef due to those food issues ... for the beers I'm sorry if it was not really your taste though.. we are not a Vietnamese company we are just making our beers there and our Chef was local and not vietnamese which is not making the dishes better, however our banh mi is very good yes ..
thank you for the front of house team, they are working hard to please the guests the best they can and they dont deserve to be blamed for the food issues and that's why we decided to change for. hopefully, better ..
hope you will give a try to the next menu ..

Love the vibe over here. Great staff, amazing food (the rendang burger is a must try) big variety on beer taps,bottles and cans. defenitely a go to spot to chill and hang

Highly recommend this place for the beers! The beer was REALLY good, love the variety. Eugene took really good care of us! He made beer recommendations (which turned out to be spot-on) and was so helpful and sweet. He da best! The food was pretty average, or maybe we ordered the wrong things? When we were there, the food portions were too small for us/for the price, and the taste was.... just alright. (We ordered the nachos, chicken wings and squid ink rice). But the beer and service was awesome, so all's good man. Perfection don't exist.

So I went on 8 March with my gfs which was International Women’s Day and received a super lovely surprise from the team. The pic says it all! We also received free pink gin martini cocktails this night which were yummy. Besides the exceptional service, this is my fave place for craft beers which they are known for. I was pleasantly surprised there’s quite a few vegetarian options ( we tried the nachos and fries which were both yum) as well as non alcoholic spirits that looked interesting. I would definitely come and check out their food and cocktails menu the next time with my friends ! Wonderful job Eddie & team! 👏👏👏

I've been coming to Heart of Darkness since it moved to Keong Saik Road and I love it! The food is great-stand outs are fish tacos, beef brisket, hummus and veal wraps (a special that sometimes appears on the menu). The have a great wine list (french Rose is my favorite) with lots of great cocktails and beers. My boyfriend really enjoys the cucumber beer! Finally I want to call out the service. A place is defined by it's staff and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Firstly Eddy is incredible-always happy to see you and welcome you! Edmund is a great waiter and Juani in the kitchen is wonderful! Thanks for looking after us - Maria & Shayne

Visited here multiple times. A wide array of beers, from lagers to IPAs to Stouts. Beers are uniquely curated by Heart of Darkness. Beers are given fresh and cold! Bartenders (Edmond and Chirag) are very friendly, and attentive, and recommend you beers according to your taste bud. Food is also good, especially recommend the Crispy prawns, prawns are big and juicy! Nachos are good too. Definitely worth a visit, especially for the huge selection of beers! :)

We went on a Friday night for an after work drink. Sat at the bar and had a great time. Incredibly busy bartenders still made time to offer suggestions and explain finer details of the various cocktails being crafted. Loved the knowledgeable staff-suggested pairings and the eclectic mix of music. Only recommended improvement would be addition of sound deadening material to ceiling as was done at last location. It is definitely too loud on a Friday to host any work meetings.

Heart of Darkness is exceptional. We went to the location in Ho Chi Minh as well, and we honestly love the Singapore establishment better, especially with their new location. There’s beer for everyone! My husband’s favorite is the Mistress Double IPA and the Kurtz’s Insane IPA. I get a flight because I want to try everything, and I have never been disappointed. Everyone there enjoys and takes pride in their job. The best hummus and cheesecake I’ve ever had was at this establishment, it’s ridiculous.
I’ve brought friends and coworkers here, had date night here, and have even come solo. Everyone will find something they’ll love.
Shout out to Jon, our favorite bartender in all of SE Asia!

As beer lover, I went there to try craft beer. I was disappointed because the music inside was very noisy and too loud for us. We couldn’t spend a lot of time here although the taste of beer was nice.

My friends and I never fail to have the best time at Heart of Darkness. The beers are great, staff are always friendly (they're basically family to us now), and the food is also delicious. Shout out to John, Eddie, Victor, Mark, and Desmond for always welcoming us. Recommend making reservations since this place is quite crowded during the weekends.
