Was researching some pet friendly cafes and this French cafe in the CBD area caught my eye. We ordered the Croque Monsieur, Poached egg w Avocado, and 2 cups of iced coffee.
Croque Monsieur was aesthetically presented and delicious with a fried egg on top, but the ham itself made the dish a bit too salty.
The poached egg was perfectly cooked with fresh avocado topped on a sourdough toast. Overall ambient of the restaurant is very inviting and relaxing - a good start of our Saturday morning.

Merci Marcel serves fantastic modern French fare at reasonable prices, and we were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of ingredients. Perhaps even more impressive was the impeccable service we received from the staff and in particular, Steven, who made every effort to introduce us to the cuisine and was also very attentive to all our requests. Highly recommend!

This is the first time we visited Merci Marcel post-pandemic (been a couple of times before.) French wine and cheese selections fantastic. We also really enjoyed the croque monsieur (a great deal for the price) and the Tiong Bahru tarte (a flatbread pizza).
Our waiter Steven was fantastic. He anticipated our needs, such as topping up our bread and made great suggestions. We were seated in a private corner, still he was always there when we needed him and gave fantastic service.
~$250 total with a bottle of wine. You can got away with spending less -- we ordered a lot of food because a lot of dishes sounded yummy on the menu, and took home leftovers.

We went for a family dinner and had a lovely meal and enjoyed ourselves the food was excellent with a wide variety to choose from with a fantastic choice of reasonably priced wines available.
The meal was offset by the wonderful service of our waiter Steven who was engaging and fun throughout the evening.
A great place for dinner.

We hadn't planned to stop here for lunch but are glad that we did. The prix fixé (formule) menu had excellent choices including a fantastic butternut squash soup and steak frites.
The service was polite, unobtrusive and very quick.

It was planned for a catch up with an old friend and it was an excellent choice, much thanks to Mae and Fauzy.
I was given an outdoor table at the point of reservation. Upon arrival, Mae was quick to agree to my request for an indoor table as the day was humid.
Meanwhile, she seated my friend and I outside. Fauzy immediately came and offered us ice cool water so that we could chill and relax while waiting for an indoor table.
Very quickly, we were ushered to a cozy indoor table for two.
Fauzy patiently answered all the questions we had about the items on the menu. It was such a delight to have him serving us. He is knowledgeable about the menu items, have a good sense of humour and super attentive to details
I had flat white and it was superb. Goes well with the pain au chocolate I had.
Thank you, Fauzy and Mae for the most delightful afternoon.

I was there because... I had no choice. It was Chinese new year so other restaurant was closed. Staff was nice and friendly. Food was kind of expensive and I've heard that it was French style restaurant. I ordered some green tea which tasted a little bit sour and it didn't taste like green tea. Poach eggs were perfect with fresh salad, pomegranate and avocado.

My daughter lives just across the way from Merck Marcel ( club road) and when we visit it is the first place we go to for a breakfast and this time it was the last meal we had in Singapore. Why? because the food and staff are outstanding and it is open early till late but the menu changes with the time of day. It has a great atmosphere typically French with great French wines. The staff are a joy to talk to and they always have time even when busy. So go there and I am sure you will go back.

I have been coming to Merci Marcel since the soft launch a few years ago and have kept coming back due to the exceptional service, quality food and great ambiance. The wine list and gin options are fantastic and also not too expensive. The cheese menu changes weekly as it depends on what they can source from France, which means there is great variety. Some of the standout dishes are the ceviche, duck rilletes, burger, tarte flambe and the crab. Always consistently good.
I do, however, want to call out the service as one of the main reasons of why I am a repeat customer. Service in Singapore can be hit and miss, but here it has always been exceptional. I specifically want to call out Mae and Nora - always smiling, helpful and genuinely happy to see you. Thank you for making my experience so wonderful and for your fantastic focus on customer service! I really appreciate that you remember my favourite drinks and food!

Food was lovely and place was comfortable. Service staff was great especially Steven who was very attentive, helpful, funny. He helped ask Chef what ingredients went into the dish when we asked. Highly recommend

We're served by Alvin during dinner and we asked for recommendations on food & red wine. Ordered all that was recommended by him to share between my girlfriends and I. All of us really enjoyed the Duck rillettes, Ravioles de Royans, Tiong Bahru tarte flambée, Cauliflower trilogy & Sautéed red snapper! We also had the special dessert that day (deconstructed lemon pie) which was smooth and creamy. We're all satisfied with the food, ambience and service of Merci Marcel Club Street.

Really enjoyed my lunch here with my girlfriends as Justine was so warm and sincere in her recommendations and service. The homemade fries that accompanied my Impossible Burger was so good that we ordered an additional helping. The sauteed red snapper risotto was also fabulous- just the right amount of creaminess and cheesiness.

The food and drinks at Merci Marcel are delicious. The staff helped us to choose the cheeses and suggested a great bottle of red wine (Je Ne Souffre Plus). We really enjoyed the duck rillettes and the smoked trout salad. Must visit!

Had an amazing evening with my wife at Merci Marcel this evening. Steven took great care of us with his keen selection of delectable delights that wowed us many times over.
You should visit this outlet just for him. The food was fantastic but what really took it home for us was Steven’s service.

Came across this gem by pure chance at noon on a Sunday. We didn't have a booking but super efficient and friendly manager found us a table for three. Had fab coffee and apricot/pear nectars. Was such a great atmosphere we had a glass of very good Rose with their Ceviche which was the best I have ever tasted (better than in Santiago). Thoroughly recommend.
