Best to avoid the sashimi at this place. I am listening to the hubby throwing up at 3am at the moment. Sashimi smelt slightly off but tasted fine. Staff insisted it was fresh when questioned. Should have listened to our gut

My stay at surfside came with a complimentary breakfast at this cafe. I had the Japanese breakfast option but asked the server to leave the rice out. So my meal just consisted of salmon, miso soup, egg, and a saucer of veggies. Had green tea for my drinks. I wished it was just a bigger serving, maybe the rice was... More

Good selection of tasteful small dishes and sushi. And in addition they also provide non smoking tables, which is a luxury on the "Smoking Island" of Boracay.

I always loved their maki! Then I brought my girlfriend to have dinner here and she loved it too! This is a new addtion to our favourites. Their french fries is really good too! The peanuts or popcorn that they're giving for free while waiting for your order is a plus too.

Variety of Japanese dishes and reasonable price. Don't expect the benchmark Japanese standard but all right for a simple meal. Great beach view though and lazy and casual ambience

I went there right before their closing time. Place wasn't crowded and relatively quiet. Quite a distance from the food central which is Dmall. I tried their tonkotsu shoyu ramen. The soup was tasty but not too overwhelming. Serving size was adequate but only had 2 pieces of tonkotsu so it may be lacking to the really hungry. Overall, I... More

This food was so good that we even went there for our Christmas dinner. I strongly recommend going as it's reasonably priced compared to other Chinese / Japanese places in D-Mal you want be disappointed. The only downside is if you are staying in station one it's very far to walk (45 min) but you can always take a tricycle.
